Have you checked out the dragonfly's??
Did it make it through the storm? The river had over 10 feet of water rise. My boat was in La Belle on the hard and it laid over. Labelle had 125mph winds. I lost my Beneteau on FMB. Keep the dream going.
ASK house owners with a nice garden. Needs also support.

As someone who has worked in the outdoor education/industry for close to 20 years (specifically backpacking and kayaking) I deal with a lot of gear, and gear opinions… And I can tell you there is no perfect piece of outdoor gear. Be it sailboats, kayaks, backpacks, GPS, hiking boots…. If you are lucky, you will find “perfect for you” and that is more than most people can say. Good luck.
Check out Tula’s endless summer.they spent some quality time on a trimaran.traveling all over the east coast.
Fair winds ⛵️
Can't wait!!
Love the videos 🙂 I wish we had more time to keep up with you guys. But once you get out on the water yourself it’s hard to find time to sit and watch each episode.
We often are in a rush to slow down as well 😉
Got to say, this is SO exciting. Really love this direction for you guys! Great idea!!
Good sailing in a much smaller, but wider boat.
Have you considered a Corsair 880. It's trailer able
I am sure you have seen Tula's Endless Summer time on a trailerable trimaran. What an amazing idea! What a great way to explore the US. The possibilities are endless! Can't wait to see what you end up with and what is next. NO – Wait! Just saw the preview! You were there! Cool.
I know you guys are about to shadow ban me – but the whole "LOOK A THE BABY!!! THIS IS OUT PRIDE AND JOY!" – yea we get it. My baby just died – your not special. Everyone on the planet has a baby – that's how things works.
mamamammamamama. Oh holly hell.
Very happy for yall! Great video. Sad to see the Tartan go and heartbroken to see it got hit by Ian
Glad you guys were able to sell before Ian and hope you got out before. We've been catching up on ur channel and the irony for us. Grew up in Shebogan and we ended up in Fort Myers. Loved seeing the trip down the Miss as it is so rare to see. And you guys have such a cool vibe🤙. You'll have to make a trip through Door County when ur back on Michigan. From Sturgeon Bay to Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, and Ephriam. Such a unique area and awesome communities. And it's hard to beat an ice cream at Wilson's on the water at sunset!
Folks. This sounds amazingly good idea for the plans you have. Tris are so much fun and, getting used to a foldable trainable one would prep you for a bigger one if you needed to. I’m just on passage to my wintering ground and I’m not relishing all that decommissioning you are taking about. As a disabled sailor the boatyard is incredibly tough so I’m hoping to keep it short.
I have been thinking along the same lines as you considering selling my 30 ft schionning cat for a trainable trimaran. I can’t wait to see what you decide.
Let's not leave any negative comments unless in 5-10 years from now they buy a cat to circumnavigate with.
I've heard that multihulls can be worse for seasickness, because there are two main axes of instability, as opposed to one main axis on a monohull. I hope y'all address that issue at some point.
