Hi Pip from Oklahoma
Great video, even though you'd just come on watch, luckily you still had the awareness to notice a slight dissipation in your engine and caught the long line issue straight away
Can't get enough of this awesome channel, family and adventure
Great video mates, I hope you enjoy Costa Rica. Thanks for bringing us along, can't wait for the next one. Cheers from Texas!!!
Shaft drives with line cutters for long distance cruising!
when seeing Southport on the stern is a reminder of how far away from home port you have gone.
Just love your family. Thanks for sharing with us.
playing in makeshift forts like that are some of the best childhood memories.
well, a small protective strip of 0,3-0,5mm inconel steel bent to the rudder leading edge shape and glued on could solve some future issues….
I always look forward to every video upload even though i’m updated on insta wherever you go.
Take care out there be safe and have fun.
great vid, thanks 🙂
Yeah another video by my favorite sailing family
Thanks for another great insight to life sailing on the water great kids all seem to work well together especially the chef👍
What great parents you are! And what a fine bunch of kids!
How good it is to have their childhood and adventures documented in this way.
I look forward to when they can put their own independent views.
Maybe become young writers/videographers of their own stories.
Excellent work all of you Sixers.
👍👏👏👏
Think about putting a strip of metal on the front of the rudders or maybe some carbon fiber. Love watching your videos.
I find it a little surprising that the leading edges of the rudders do not have some kind of aluminum reinforcement.
Another groovy episode
Just a suggestion, a sheet metal workshop could form a stainless steel folded leading edge to protect those rudders, say 1mm thick and just sikkaflex them in position then prime and anti foul. Good luck!
