16. Great video and brings back memories when I lived in Los Cristianos for two and a half years in 2006 and used to see La Gomera every morning in the distance from the terrace, unfortunately I didnt sail there!

17. Yeah ! Enjoy those lazy days and the fine weather. I recommend La Gomera for a great adventure. Christopher Columbus visited San Sebastian in 1492 1493 and 1498. Go for it ! Just a 4 hr sail. If you leave after breakfast you will arrive by for lunch.

20. Good man Peter ,Pats also in his element. Im hoping to get Peter from sailing into freedom hooked up with Rolly Tasker Sails for his elcano challenge. Hes going to build a mumby 48 aluminium performance cat in cebo in the phillipines. Hes australian as rolly was and rolly founded the australian museum of sailing so theyre a fit. As you know i also have a set of rollys and the build quality is off the scale. Heading for kilgarvan tomorrow to take them down and home as im lifting out next saturday weather permitting. Wouldnt half mind being in your shoes not to mention your boat now. Enjoy the r and r . When you get to the verdes theres a swiss guy there on a yacht called galopin. Hes half gone native and speaks fluent creole. Look him up if you need anything fixed there as he knows everyone. he has a yt channel but the name eludes me now as im tired. Keep her lit.

31. You are a grown man, but if you would take a little advice from an old man, please always use a safety line when climbing the mast. I want you to make it to old man status too.

32. What i recall of Los Christionaos was a beach night club that pumped out heavy base till 4am every night. I only stayed 4 nights then headed for Gomera. If you go there, beware wind accleration zone, best to be well upwind of the harbour, took me 6 hours hard beating against 25-30 knot winds to make port.

35. Aye m8! Remember – between Tenerife and La Gomera there can be very many pilot wales to watch. Did the passage from S of La Gomera, rounded the S tip of Tenerife on a three masted schooner in Januari this year and there where lots of whales!
