Astăzi vă duc, băieți, navigand cu barca mea de 31 de picioare până la o insulă! Ne-a plouat, ne-am oprit pentru combustibil și am avut un vânt grozav pentru aproximativ jumătate din călătorie! Este prima dată când navighez cu această barcă către Insula Catalina! Construiesc un opritor rocker pe parcurs, care va ajuta barca să fie mai puțin stâncoasă noaptea! Puii mei mi se vor alătura și pentru această velă, precum și un cameraman. Vă voi arăta, băieți, navigația completă, pe care am avut o medie de 4 noduri în timp ce eram sub puterea velei. Am luat și niște baloane pe drum și am văzut un petrolier imens! După ce ajungem la Cătălina, vorbim cu patrula portului și luăm un acostare pentru seară! Vă voi arăta, de asemenea, băieți cum obțin ancorarea pe barcă și cum ține barca pe loc! A fost o zi frumoasa dupa 9 ore de navigatie am ajuns in sfarsit la Catalina! Din fericire, totul a decurs conform planului pentru această călătorie! Vă mulțumesc foarte mult pentru vizionare, sper să vă văd să vă alăturați distracției apăsând butonul de abonare! Good to see you out there sailing. One suggestion, I strongly recommend that you get the boat ready to sail before you leave the dock. Boom cover removed, halyards connected, and anchor ready to deploy. Engines die, things happen, and luck favors the prepared. Great video, thanks.

I was on a friends fishing boat in Key Largo Fl and watching the container ships go by and they are HUGE. He says like you that they have the right of way and never try to cross in front but also to cut them a wide berth when passing behind as they sometimes are dragging cables from buoys they hit that could snag you and drag you with them.

I just enjoyed your trip. to Catalina Island so much … Oh how I do miss that Island , so much fun and looks like you had a great time.. makes me wish I was there too… but I am getting North Star ready to head south to the Caribbean . You should sail your boat there too, I know you would love it there so many islands so close together. It's a big party. .

Use your boat hook to undo the lazy jack from the battens, so you won’t have to struggle bringing the sail up and down a few times…or, you can just slack the leeward lazy jack when raising the sail..
Why do use the word Captain? People work hard to get their Captain license.
Turning back and getting the balloon is good practice in case of an overboard and great for the environment lol
