My family just moved back to Alaska and as you started talking about crossing the border into Canada I could feel my frustration and anger coming back! We got turned away our first attempt to cross into Canada from MT, because we had bb guns that could shoot too fast! 🙄Then they made us get rid of our mattresses also, but the couches were fine! 🤦♀We didn't have any problems our 2nd attempt, they didn't even ask about mattresses!
I wouldn't be surprised if that Canadian border patrol guy was totally lying about the guy ahead of you saying you had handguns. You kinda of went off on that guy without knowing whether it was true or not, but I totally understand being upset and stressed by the whole thing! It's absolutely ridiculous!

We had three thru the years, you have to dedicate the first year to training because they are a stubborn breed. But they are built for the cold and excellent loyal companions extremely smart and excellent guard dogs. I love that breed.

Canada is very complicated country regarding gun laws (58:32). I guess all monarchies are that way. The royalty is afraid of their populations having guns and they ban almost everything in the name of "safety" (of themselves, of course). There is no freedom in Canada contrary to the majority of states in USA. That's why they are desperate trying to attract immigrants to Canada. However, there is no doubt it is a wonderful country and they have very nice people there, but I would never ever live in Canada. Just because of such laws. Congratulatons! You guys are brave!
