Sometimes it is difficult to see ourselves. We may even deceive our own mind seeing from another's perceived view.
Doing the same activity repeatedly at one position will result in overdevelopment of the affected area. Mix it up I think.
Commodity energy can not compare in any way to energy harnessed from plentiful abundant constantly renewable sources. Not even efficiency has much relevance outside of managing the resource.

'deep' water … where I live board 20' and under is shallow (Salish Sea). All things are relative.

It's a shame so much construction of building homes takes away the beauty of a lot of land. I'm planning to start traveling back in forth, spending the summer up here on the Chesapeake and going the Fla. for the winter. Next year I'm going full retirement next year.
I'm not sure if you watch other sailing channels but Emily and Clarke's adventures have an interesting take on dinghies. They swear by using a 10' aluminum fishing boat. They're rugged, easy to repair, about the same weight as a blow up dinghy, you can put wheels on them, they don't deflate. What do you prefer?

I am 100% with you Maddie on the unnecessary 'human pollution' of rare natural environments! Also call me an old grouch because as someone who lives in 48 sq metres (480 sq ft) I struggle with the huge expensive structures as they cannot all have 40 or more children to need it! They rub salt in the wound when they destroy the environment that probably attracted them to the place! Crazy!
