50 years ago in the fort at St Georges was an old plug in switch board, like in old hotels with the jack plugs. The guy in the fort told me he ran the whole phone system on the island from up there. Guess a maximum of 50 lines. Have Jackson & the puppies go see if it is still there?
There's a ton of Bay Leaves on the island. Go and buy fresh bay leaves and put them in your flour, pasta, spices etc. Problem solved. Otherwise visit us at the Monday Market at Secret Harbour and we'll explain in detail. As always, great video.
A bench top vacuum packing machine would help to protect food from mould contamination and also stop the growth of insects. Once packed under vacuum the bags can be stored in the freezer. This will kill any viable insects or eggs. Vacuum packing machines can be pretty hopeless at the bottom end of the price range, but there are some good brands available. Just do your research. Cheers Peter
What you are doing is so great
A lot of trouble but please keep it up if you can
You two r the best. Thank you. There is hope for humanity. ❤❤❤
Weevils, extra protein.Old receipt from outback people living on the land. Small bottle of Ether, cotton balls, little paper bags. Protect your flour and serials by storing in airtight packaging; a few drops of ether on a cotton ball and pop into a matchbox or tiny paper bag and seal it into your flour, etc. containers. Take care.
Love your chanel❣️ So happy for the new pups, they couldn't be in better hands. You two rock 🤙🏻
u2 are ok with me.👍✌️
You certainly `pay it forward`. What you both are doing is tremendous.
The Good Life!😊
Another great show guys ❤❤❤❤
I love you guys. Jeeze, saving animals, find new homes for them, taking them to the vet to get the fixed up. WOW! You're amazing, so loving and caring. I hope you have a huge YouTube channel. Sorry about your spices. Have you seen the bug proof bottles on Amazon. Bugs hate them. Keep up the groovy work. You're the best. What's up Jackson.
I can't wait to see what happens to stitch 🙂
You guys are the best puppy lovers! Your love and passion melts my heart 💜 keep up the great work!
I love what you guys do with the puppies and I know it’s not easy. God bless you to your hearts are so beautiful and you both funny. Good luck with the humid bug population.
Supper Dupper cool finding Forever Homes for those Pup's!! Thank you! What is thhe name the little one? <3 😉
Buy a Vacuum sealer, and some reusable vacuum seal storage containers or rolls of vacuum sealer bags, mylar bags, and oxygen absorber packets. Bulk storage with no more mold or insects. I know it's hard on a boat, but things like grains and spices come with bug eggs in them from the store/manufacturers. If you store your grain based products and flours etc in cold storage, preferably the freezer, they never hatch. I lived alone in Florida and stocked up months in advance, and also kept an emergency 2.5 year supply of essentials for a shtf situation. I have experienced all these issues. You can stock up in advance you just need to eliminate moisture and oxygen from your storage. Break the bulk items into small single use sizes so you aren't opening them resealing where you are introducing humidity and oxygen over and over. Air tight containers under a vacuum with O2 absorbers and try to store in darkness. Even this way things eventually have a shelf life but they will last months and years vs days and weeks.
Entertaining, you guys are brilliant
Loving your vids. Just one thing. My mind keeps taking me back to my school days and latin lessons in particular. One phrase keeps cropping up. It is "Gluteus maximus in excelsis". Can't understand why.😉
gotta put them in a cool place like the frig
Love Your Blog fron East,Texas,USA
This is why you’re my fave Utuber! Imagine if every Utuber contributed to the community that supports them how balanced the world would be. BTW, how do I send you a food sealer to eliminate the oxygen from getting into your food stores & stop those nasty mould & bugs? Or do you have an Amazon acct where you change the shipping address & viewers can buy stuff on it for you?
Amazing as always. I think the dogs name should be trike…
I raise cats and I love animals. Anyone who thinks likewise is alright with me. Animals are givers not takers.
