I’ll just say it. I don’t like this boat. If I had the money I wouldn’t prefer this one. Those windows all around and all the side windows that might not seal or somebody forgets to close. The horrible light wood. All the fancy automated thingies that will break down. The shallow draft. The tvs. The too tight nav station. No berth for night crossings near steering. No charm. I do appreciate Captain showing the boat. How else to make comparisons? Oh and the placement of batteries. Thanks for pointing out the compromises that have been made with this boat.
Widening your range -what a beautiful ship! Always fascinating commentary along the way. Also, very good to see you connect with Omaze and a good cause! Dean
Nice sweater captain 👌.
Way above my pay grade.
I'm gonna bet they used maple instead of birch or beech. Maple is much more stable and dense. 🤙
No non-sponsored can of sludge on this beauty!
The practical sailor in me cringed while watching this tour, but this isn’t a boat for those who can’t afford to be impractical. But, the dreamer in me still didn’t love it. The cabin sole color against the cabinetry, the need for tons of connectivity, a fridge full of miller lite… means, but no taste.
WOW GUY'S. RECKEM APROOVED. WHEN I HIT THE LOTTERY I WANT AN OYSTER.
Very nice and excellent video as always. Definitely not a solo sailor.
Wow! This is a mansion on the water gentlemen. Certainly well maintained. And the price is less than a home here on the West coast. Thank you gentlemen for showing this beauty.
Here's an idea for next sailing season…do some sailing videos where you can show us things like adjusting the stays, setting the spinnaker, etc.
it's crazy to think i've watched 120 episodes and learned a ton along the way.
Love that sweater there, Captain Cardigan! 😃
Cruising in style. Cheers to you.
Where’d CQ get the sweater???
Gosh ! Another big tease which last miserable Lotto win wouldn't pay for my special bottle or can of tucker…..so sad.
Hey ! Wait a minute! This boat is ~. Off Limits ~. for you guys. No no no ! Not fair. I thought you were keeping up with the $100,000 rule. Oh well. ~. Just imagine.
Its like a personal version of the QE2!
Wow! What a beautiful boat. If only I could retire today I would buy and sail off into the sunset.
So informative like always. Thanks captain and randee
My dream
Hands down the most Luxurious Yacht you've featured on this channel. That is a floating Penthouse that I'd imagine is as capable as she is beautiful. Were I to ever win the lottery one of these would be my forever home on the water. Just an amazing vessel and of course her pedigree is beyond reproach. If you ever want to know how the other half lives look at some of these truly high end Yachts from builders who know how to cater to your every need or want.
Thank you Captain and Randy for making me feel as if I was able to go aboard a Yacht I would never be able to set foot on other than at a boat show.
Fair winds, following seas, safe travels and God Bless…
Would be interested for you guys to weigh in on the monohull vs cruising cat vs performance cat debate. I have to say that if I was spending $800k on a sailboat, I would probably go for a performance cat, but perhaps I am not aware of all the benefits of a monohull, which clearly is the category you prefer to highlight on your channel.
I am sorry but your review didn't serve this yacht any justice.
How I wish I had LOTS of money! (drool)
Wait! Pause please! What was that next to you when you were scoring the Oyster? The Oyster is cool, but what was that pretty thing?
Lovely yacht with a great reputation. That said over 1 million Aussie dollars for a second hand boat has me thinking of what else I could get with that kind of spondoolies. Excellent review as always fellas
Love Oysters.
Dont like the interior layout on this. All the cabins felt like they were squeezed in as an after thought .Feels like this was designed as a charter Yacht.
None of the forward cabins had enough height to sit up in bed. For a live aboard blue water cruiser this was ridiculous.
Prefer the 48" version
Best boat yet by far. Almost perfect? The price reflects that
Any chance they’ll take $79,000 for that old kinda crummyish boat? I promise I’ll take good care of it!! Ran-Dey I’m willing to go 50/50 with you on it.
I've always admired Oysters for the non-claustrophobic saloons with all that glass, but had to wait for Captain Q's approval (and a winning ticket) before trading up from my Sunfish….
Even if I sold my Kidney 350k Dubai black market price. I couldn't afford the fuel for this boat.
It’s been awhile since I’ve watched one of your videos and what a boat to come back to! This would be the boat (yacht?) that I could comfortably sail around the world on….now I just need to win Powerball.
Just $775,000 more than I can afford without my wife getting really mad at me.
So does CQ sell his Laser to make the down payment, or hang it from those davits?
Omaze does just as much good for humanity as powerball….im really disappointed you took money from them
Amazing boat, but who has 3/4's of a million dollars??
I think that vacuum cleaner sucks 😉
