This is defintely my dream cat , but I could live with an ORC 50 too… Fastest cruising boat ? Mmmmm . Maybe a Gunboat 68 could be marginally faster but extremely much more expensive . A Rapido 60 trimaran will be faster I think but a bit pricier , but you pay massively for that in internal volume . No , give me the ORC 57 then . And don't forget these cats are raced too . The Route du Rhum was just won by an ORC 50 . An ORC 42 won the Rolex Fast Net a couple of years ago before a few Dazcat 1495's and the ARC rally has beeen won from 2019 to 2021 on an ORC 50 , setting the multi hull record in 2019 . And in a few hours from now another ORC 50 will win the 2022 editon with about a 3 days lead to the second runner up , an Outremer 55.
Hell man dont tell the Government ??? LOL… They will find a way to tax the wind . Not joking .
This company or Dazcat are my dream cats.
Seem extremely well built and I always heard a fast sail boat is a safe boat because if you do not have the skill you can sail her slow.
