It is an idea. Not my idea of sailing though…
Great boat. Thanks for the review
For 70k i would expect the moulding laminate finish to be better. Rich persons toy.
Fun little boat
This or the Tricat 6.90?
Nice toy but pricey!
Great stuff. Now please tell me which bank I can rob in order to buy one?
Cute tri but wondering for that amount of money what else is out there in the multi-hull market that might be more bang for the buck? I'm not entirely sure what the market focus and appeal is with these small but expensive trimarans.
Looks great fun and ideal for cruising, but then you could sacrifice the speed and enjoy a used Drascombe coaster for a similar experience. Not convinced these boats will be as robust and last 30 years to ever be accessable for budget sailors. We think £4000 is expensive! You can buy a very good used Beneteau 361 for the price of this Trimaran.
expensive for 40k pounds for just 22 feet trimaran (for about the same you can get a corsair which is 3x the boat as this one)
Great looking boat, well thought out design. We decide to go with something along this line, we purchased a 2020 Corsair 880 Sport Trimaran, wicked fast but very stable and easy to sail. On a recent sail from our home base in Key Largo, Florida we sailed to Key West, Florida. we covered the 91 miles in 5.7 hours, averaging 14.7 knots and reached 20.2 knots on several occasions. With a lot of the areas in the Florida Keys being shallow, the Corsair fits our lifestyle perfectly…
Good speed for such a short hull. Multihulls are the best and tris are better than cats.
