I've been wondering what the plan was to get to the other side of Sweden, whether you sailed around or through Göta Kanal, but I'm beginning to suspect you only visited the east coast, is that right? Quite a shame going all the way to Sweden just to sniff on on one coast 🙂

Amazing! My mother’s family is Swedish/Finnish from the Gulf Of Bothnia side. Now I understand why the landscape of Georgian Bay on the Great Lakes not far from where I live speaks to me so strongly. The rocks and water are just like this!
One of my slogans for each day is "Life is an Adventure so live it!!" and another I say many mornings is "It's another Glorious Day to Be" "Glorious Day" on my YouTube..Reverberation or SoundCloud channel has always been one of my favorites to have written.
Interesting and lovely as always. BTW the use of wooden "nails" to join timbers goes back a along way. In the UK in shipbuilding they were known a trennals, literally a corruption of the sound of "tree nails"!

What an amazingly wonderful passage with all those little gems. For tie up/anchorages; my favorite is the side tie up at the rocks. Mainly because you and just hop off and run around. All the music was perfect, as always, and love your sailing outfit. When do you expect to be back in the US ?
