  1. Thank you for watching and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thanks for all your support during the year, it's been a big year for us with coming to US, moving into the new boat and the big refit. Lots of work and a bit of stress but now we can look back at it and say "we did it!". You guys watching, commenting and being supportive of the project has cheered us along the whole way! Next year will have a lot more of actual SAILING, exploring and hopefully some skiing too. Can't wait!

  2. capitan Rick (S,S,Lady) had semilar problems withhis shaft seal after installing new engine, turns out something about shaft was too low in the sterntubing.

  3. Thanks for your honesty Mark, it was probably the right yacht if it was in a different place, but I've found in my experience that the right yacht does come up in the right place eventually for the right price 😉 having had a number of yachts I understand your mind set, very mixed emotions and stresses in these situations. Good luck, the channel is great, fair winds

  4. California sea lions . They know some big weather is coming, you get the Birds n sea lions hide in the bay.
My friend Mike has the same boat based in Alameda. Very capable love sailing on it. You've been in my favorite place In B.C. keep the great vids coming

  5. Great yr back on tour!! Love all the content from fitting out to sailing and awesome drone footage. That was a good shakedown tour U are a great team n will tuneup centerboard strips n carry on North!Very inspiring. Cheers!!

  6. You need a good old fashioned stuffing box…I have boats for years ..at 75 years of age have never had an issue with ingress of water from shaft etc…modern technology is fine until it breaks…

  7. What you achieved in just 4 months is nothing short of legendary. It took me 7 months just to restore a 20 foot trailer sailer! Thanks for the video. I understand why you didn’t film much during the refit as you needed to be very focused on the work. I’m here for the long haul and looking forward to watching the sailing adventures unfold.

  8. I've watched and enjoyed everything you've uploaded and am really looking forward to your north east passage. Great content!

  9. Be careful off of Eureka, that area catches a lot of people. Winter of of the Oregon coast can be 100 mph winds and 70 foot waves . You should wait…
