  1. Did we give too much? Are we too naive? Could we have done better? We have a lot of lingering questions. Would love to hear your thoughts.

  2. You guys are incredible! What an amazing adventure! Love this so much! Scary for sure though… You must have some sort of personal protection?!

  3. I follow these dear people and contribute via Patreon but this video sure did raise serious questions. The world is getting smaller and smaller and there is no way that industrialized cultures are not going to 'invade' simpler cultures. Someone else in these comments mentioned the movie, 'The God's Must Be Crazy', a movie that depicts what happens when 2 very dissimilar cultures meet. I liked another commenter's suggestion that you defer to the leader of the culture as to how to interact. But that would be difficult considering the language barrier. Irregardless, I wish nothing but success and increased wisdom, going forward, for the Nahoa family

  4. You’re not that vulnerable because you check in/out, you’re online, you’re traceable.
Those natives of Madagascar know that so what purpose would it serve that they take chances, I imagine it would be terrible for them. Everyone everywhere has some access to the internet via cell phone. The world is way more connected that it ever was which is both good & bad.
It’s very kind & generous of you to trade & donate things to them because most wouldn’t bother. 😍👍👏

  5. As world travellers visiting other cultures, consider that raising your cultural awareness is your responsibility and the best gift you can bestow.

  6. It looked like all their clothing came as gifts from passing cruisers. You did a great job. Very generous and making excellent calls in the moment.

  7. The ones that were misbehaving KNEW they were doing that. I was noticing you didn't have an "elder" of the village there. When you do that , you have what those people feel is a leader and they can offer a little more stability. In the US we have Indian tribes and they have people who misbehave a lot. You know this, your from Canada…

  8. I must say there was one of the mum looking out for willa when ash was giving out clothes…
I think you did great just seen a tug of war be hard to take in and be a part of..
Think if you were back home and had 30 people and only five ps5 omg

  9. You two are very generous and giving. I would however suggest not showing up with large quantities of anything to give out. They start fighting among themselves and after guilty feelings set in, that anger could turn back to the source that brought it about. Even though you meant the very best for them, their way of seeing things may not align with yours.

  10. This episode is so sad, lacking humility, lack of understanding of how it works in tribal communities. I will leave you with this thought King James Bible quote: But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth.

  11. I don't know about the safety in those areas, but most locals are lovely people….BUT, please please don't do this in South African. I'm a South African and things are rough there. Find local friends and follow their suggestions closely and stick to their sides- for you and your family's safety. Eg, don't wander around just anywhere, stay home at night, etc. Yes, I'm very nervous for you when I watch your adventures like this one. We have lost close friends and had family had terrifying things happen (held up at gunpoint, kidnapping in which my nephews friend was murdered…) This is the tip of the iceberg! I so enjoy your videos and very seldom comment (sorry) but I do feel very strongly about this and feel a great need to warn you. Take lots of care friends….🌟🐠🌟🐠🌟🐠🌟

  12. I feel so sorry for them.I love your passion for helping them in any way, and those instant photos you took are precious, maybe in their lifetime. Salute to your family! God bless and stay safe on your journey.

  13. Reason you guys don't get in trouble is because locals think your wife is Davy Jones incarnate wearing a lipstick and sex change because she's truly ugly and horrifying. But luck might run out and your little ones might end up in some tribals cooking pot so be careful. Don't worry, no one will touch your wife even with a spear gun. 😂

  14. Statistically I would bet you have more chance of being Robbed in Vancouver or London? I wonder Why is this such an issue for you??

  15. You are both very gullible, i understand having a big heart and giving etc. You really need put your families safety first. I watched how you let loads of strangers aboard your boat, yes they are good people. My point is even if you lived in a city you wouldn't invite strangers into your home and that's with having the comfort of neighbours around you, if something happened you have the option to run away also to ring the police. On the ocean you would be totally screwed. I would take a step back and refocus how to move forward with your video content in a safer manner. You asked its just my unbiased opinion. Happy sailing.😁😁

  16. Hands down this video was another MASTERPIECE ‼️‼️‼️You guys ABSOLUTELY ROCK‼️‼️‼️WOW, THANK YOU 🥰🥰🥰

  17. When you said you gave away your Lululemon shorts, my eleven year old daughter gasped… and I loved it. 😆 Those people have no clue about Lulus. Such an eye opener for my daughter.
We only see what you show us. I know you have great care and protection over your children. I think things got a little out of hand when you were giving away stuff, but you had a good feel on the temperature of the situation and handled it with ease and grace. 👍

  18. Did Bodhi get hurt? I am genuinely wondering because his eye looked a little red. You guys are absolutely inspiring and inspirational. A tough act to follow. ✌🏻

  19. Thanks for sharing the videos despite the fact that some may not agree with the way y’all live your lives. Be safe and stay the way you are. You only go around this life once and most of us don’t get to circumnavigate while living it so who’s opinion is matters anyway. Happy New Year Nahoa and family

  20. Have you ever seen t-shirts shot out of air cannons at basketball games? I think this was exactly the reaction your going to get. You have something rare or of value to them in a resource desert this is the result. I don’t think it got out of control, Ive watched worse happen at a NETS game, do I think she was in danger ? No, especially because their daughter was crying the two women were trying to check on and consul her.
