Hey Up Morgan, it's good to see you back and Safa, seems to be going very well with her nice coppercoat bottom. Still too cold up here for boating, very envious of you wandering around in a tea shirt. It's "big coat" weather here. Take care .. Dave
Welcome back mate !!! (happy new year…..maybe one day….)
Enjoy !!
The coast is much better after cabo de gata ,
Good to see you back on the water. It's a shame how work can get in the way of our lives.
glad to see you back ,as always great content and will always look forward to future episodes.
I'm rather jealous, I'm in offshore land West Africa since August and still no reliever – wanna go and sail my own boat!
Another great video !
How much difference did the staysail make to the roll sailing ‘wing on wing’ ? I have just bought an old Westerly Sealord with a staysail on a removable inner forestay. Anything to help / slow the roll would be worth giving it a go I guess..
Welcome back. Cracking sailing footage. I'm looking to fit a boom gallows to my 31 and would be interested to see how yours are fitted.
Nice to see you back 🙂. Time goes quickly. If you need to return to a job again, good luck. Hopefully you'll be back on your boat and keeping us informed soon. Wish you good luck.
Great to see you back again and where have the last two months gone? I have heard your theme music on a few other youtube channels but every time I hear it I think of Sailing Safar and looking forward to your further travels 👍
Thank you for bringing us along your voyage once again. I love watching you sail and make decisions along the way which is so real and honest. As true as the sea and the wind as I could ever imagine. I am curious though… did the staysail give any added stability to the wing-on-wing downwind sail as you have envisaged?
Another great episode and good to see you back and sailing Safar again. Quite envious of your sailing conditions… we are having a shocker of a summer for sailing with frequent rain and strong ex-cyclone winds in Auckland, NZ so enjoyed being reminded of these more favourable conditions.
Hi Morgan. Great video. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you at Alcaidesa, sorry we didn't get a chance to say goodbye. Best of luck with your adventures and good luck with your new job. All the best. Kind regards Daryl.
21:35 Was my favourite part of this episode! I rewatched it so many times during the editing
Nice one 😎
Hello Morgan, nice to see you and Safar back together and sailing.
Can you tell me what AIS program you were running ? It looked like you had it on your iPad too.
All the best Richard
Nice to See you sailing again. Directly down Wind, wing in wing the Saltram rolls quite a bit, at least mine does. I am still looking for a solution for that.
Hey where is you deck crew shoutout 😄
Great film, happy sailing x
Your headsail Yankee looks really small for the boat? I had a Tradewind 35 for 15 years and I’m pretty sure it was much larger.
Perfect blend of feminine beauty from the Ocean and rugged masculinity from the voice over!
8/10, table for two please.
Fully understand the need to go and make some money, but, please keep making the videos. I watch scores of different sailing channels, but, yours seems far and away the most relatable. I had hoped to make a very similar trip to yours in my own boat this year, but I continue to have concerns about the Orca whale situation, as I think do many others. You seemed to have been ok, in that regard. Good luck in the new job and keep the videos coming, even though they may be less often.
great video! should add more sails to help you go faster! saw it on wikipedia
Great video Morgan. Did you have any concerns about Orca’s? We wanted to take our boat from Northern Ireland to the Med this summer…but just can’t entertain the thought of having the boat damaged by Orca’s.
We are more likely to head for Madeira and the Canaries.
Lovely video. Lovely clean, well maintained yacht. What is she?
Happy sailing. ⛵️
6.000 💶 for antifouling? 🤯🤯DUDE I would have done it for 5 🤣🤣🤣 💶
Hi Morgan, great to have you back on your lovely boat. Yes the work life balance is so hard to get right on a boat, and we all know that boats chew money up and spit it out with a total disregard to our financial situation! I was a yachty for 30 years and even on 2 and 2 I was not really using the boat well enough. You will figure out what works for you and of course the Med season is much longer than the Baltic where my baby lies ……. For now anyway.
Fair winds at work and play, all the best Jon
Hi , just started watching your channel , enjoy it a lot , we are in Gibraltar , just did the journey from Uk so a few weeks behind you … cheers
Phill
I always found I was left with a profound sense of loneliness when a dolphin pod leave after being with you for a few hours
Have you any plans to visit Mallorca? I'm living on anchor I'm Palma nova. It's amazing here and we'll protected from the wind and swell
