  1. Great to see you back. Hope everything is going well for you guys. Beautiful boat. I will assume the price is negotiable. The fact it wasn't covered effects the price and the RIB is at least deflated. I always wonder what's the story of the boat. It looks like someone put it up expecting to come back and didn't. I also wonder what about the personal effects on the boat? If you want you can check out Sailing Zingaro for an other Oyster yacht. His is different.

  2. Oyster's are right up there with Nautor Swans. Gorgeous boats and incredible craftsmanship. Thanks for the video. And honestly, 750K isn't bad for an Oyster sailing yacht.

  3. Its Ben a bit since I’ve turned into you you still give a good presentation but I couldn’t help but notice how you let yourself go personally it makes you look unprofessional

  4. Beautiful boat. It looks like a very high quality solid built vessel. Unfortunately I am around $600,000.00 short. Can you help me out as it won’t be long and I will be running out of time too. LOL 😂

  5. Great boat! But…..this boat on YW shows engine hours at 4868- which is a lot of engine hours for a $750K boat IMO. Not sure why your specs show 2381 though. Enjoyed the review.

  6. Don’t understand why a boat this small is worth more than most homes especially being a 2006. As we all know it’s a boat and a nice boat but it’s still a used boat and will require quit a bit of work to get it back into tip top shape. Possibly a few newer instruments. The sails will probably need to be replaced and if not most likely within the next few years. It’s a really nice boat with lots of great equipment but it isn’t a super yacht. I just don’t see and don’t understand the 750k price tag.

  7. All that info at the end of the video and not a word about specs. How about telling me how long the boat is, how wide it is, what the length overall and the length of the waterline are. But no, I have to go from my tv to a mobile device.

  8. Very nice; Oyster's have a fine reputation. However, if my goal was to sail the Seven Seas, with a family, a stouter, more bulletproof and ultimately safer boat would be my preference. Needs a longer keel, needs better protection for the rudder from flotsam and jetsam. Sure, a quick sail to Bermuda, cruise the Grenadines. But sailing the world? The Roaring Forties? I doubt that's what this vessel is really intended for.

  9. This in not so awful an asking price, when one take into consideration what a new Oyster of similar dimensions cost. A further investment of say 20 K in modernization and cleanup, renders this practically a new Boat!

  10. Base price on a new Oyster 565 is $1.9M US, at today's exchange rate. You could reasonably expect to add at least another $200K – $300K in upgrades and add-on equipment. $750K for a well sorted used boat, even one that is 17 years old, doesn't seem that bad. I DO NOT understand owners who won't completely tidy up the boat for a video shoot! Remove the cushions, make sure everything is in it's proper place, etc. Saying it's "on the hard for the winter" seems lazy to me. If you want top dollar, you better make it look like it's worth it!

  11. Beautiful boat and great presentation on the video!!! I think you may have missed the single berth in the sta-brd aft utility room. It appears that there is a sleeping area just above the lower cabinets.

  12. It looks well maintained. Engine, woodwork, newer b&g instruments etc. The small shaded outdoor space on center cockpit boats of this vintage is a major compromise tho.

  13. You are so impressed that someone let you on their Oyster. You are shouting praises for this boat without even surveying it first.

  14. I used to consider Oysters custom sailboats but now they’re just higher end production yachts. I’m not saying that’s bad, but they’re no longer custom. They’re well designed but the detail quality and execution just isn’t what it used to be.

  15. Even in Aussie $'s it's a bit rich but I s'pose at 56' nothing half decent is cheap and the fit and finish of Oyster's will suit the most OCD of us all just trailers and the same inside layout

  16. Stricly zero technical interesting comments and info about this boat. Its all about describing what we can see on the video and detailing storage here and there. 👎🏽
