After my wife passed, I find I am happier without a partner. As I have gotten older I have become set in my ways, and others my age also are set in their ways. Sometimes, I just need a little help from my family and friends.

Installing a new Lofrans Tigres windlass on my V40 right now. Solid job replacing the windlass oil.
Ahhh, what a sweet video. I think you were over thinking it. I know because I do the same! I start wondering about a million little things and it can almost be paralyzing. You just have to shake it off, it will be fine. It is amazing the things you know without knowing you know them. Knots, yeah it is nice to know them and it is a hobby of sort for me but really with only knowing 4-5 knots you are good in all situations.

Rebecca, , , ,you are VERY READY to do this. 99% of being the "Captain" is keeping a calm head on your shoulders. Let's face it,,,,,,,,there really isn't anything you can't do on this boat. You know every little thing inside and out. There will most definitely isues that come up. You will do fine. You are amazing, strong and you are most aware of yourself. You know that you have this in the bag. When you get , to the East coast of florida, Like Jacksonville or maybe down closer to the Tamp or Space Coas, , , , , , , i'll be happy to drive over and bring you a nice case of Labatt beer.
