I can't watch The 2023 RHEA TRAWLER 34 boat
This boat is fantastic, I wish they have an aluminum one
I still remember when you met old mate from Athens at the Cornish Shrimper in 2020. It's so wholesome that you're still together. He seems like a nice dude.
He was right. There is some very clever features.
This would be an amazing first boat
!
Amazing tour and really cool guy from Swallow yachts… Apart from professional he seems a really nice guy! If they manage to get the right distribution this boat will be a success for sure!
Dumb questions especially – ' if I pay that much do I get the trailer?' God ! People are so cluless🎈
Almost exactly the same as a macregor 26m year 2004 model. 100k? For that is a lot, you can get a macgregor for 20 to 30k. Plus put a 90hp on the macgregor and you will go 3x faster.
Nice looking boat, not sure who pays that much for a 26ft boat but there are people who will.
Does it have a shower in the head, I didn't see if it had that option.
Thank you
Wait! I haven't caught one of her vids for a while but I remember when she met the guy she's with. He was totally hitting on her. "What's your name…where are you from…can I buy you a drink…" He seemed to start following her around and she wasn't too thrilled with that. Did he wear her down? Are they an item now? LOL
Έλληνας?
Wish they mass produced boats so we could get a boat like this for 20k, which is probably what it’s actually worth! Think of the cars you can buy for this kind of money.
Really well designed and perfect for proper sailing over longer distances. Lovely and such a friendly design. Great job on capturing this for us to see it!
Nice boat I have a midship 25 but it's a center cockpit boat I like your layout of your boat
Swallow yachts… What a disgusting name.
He was quick to get off the towing details…
Clearly one needs a big SUV to tow this.
just exactly what does that carbon mast do for us that aluminum could not do at lower cost? How is the speed and comfort? How does open stern protect the cockpit from flooding? how much drinking water do you store? how do you stay cool when it’s very hot?
The competition designed better than this twenty years ago and at a fraction of the price.
Should stick to turning out fox dinghies.
It's got to be over 33ft to be considered a yacht , this little guy is a daysailer
just a f…… 26 feeter, but space like a big cruising-ship … (or what..?), 100 points for the genius galley, sleeping for 4 to 6 guys, outside a barbecue on the grabhandle, a 2. fridge …. and lets sail around our big mama … i luv your SWEET SAIL SHIP … AND ONLY 26 FEET, VOLL KRASS, ALTER – ☠❤🩹☠
I agree with all positive comments thus far, although it’s my humble opinion that £150,000 or so all-in is a lot to pay for what is essentially a trailer-sailor. I think half of this total would have been more on the mark. Okay, trailer-sailors save on marina costs, but in reality, a 26’ boat whatever the type is still too large to store at home and thus will incur yard fees at least. A large 4×4 required to tow is out of reach of most trailer-sailors and this would have been a more successful venture if it had been possible with a standard saloon vehicle. Additionally, most drivers wouldn’t be comfortable towing a large load around most roads/car parks in the U.K. In conclusion, a very attractive vessel but a little impractical as a true trailer-sailor. At the inflated asking price, I suspect that most prospective owners would be looking at thirty something footers with a traditional keel set up without having to ‘mess’ with ballast and setting up of rig to say nothing of launching/towing. That said, if you’re looking for a traditional type of vessel without the hassle of maintenance, she should fit the bill quite nicely, and at twenty or so thousand less, is a little more on the button, although in essence, it’s still an expensive trailer sailor. Sorry. Thanks for sharing.
This is a joke, I have a Bristol Channel Cutter only 2 foot longer and it weighs 14000, lbs with a 10'4" beam a true world cruiser, with a 38" overall length it has the sail area of a 38' sailboat
Spectacular
I won't be giving up my Freedom 40 anytime soon but, this is a lovely little yacht!
What a nightmare, having to own a boat! I hate boats. They sink.
That's a fine boat but the pricing?
That galley blew my mind. I can't believe I have never seen one like that before.
It's 2023 and manufacturers are pushing garbage at insanely high prices for crazy profit margins! No standing headroom and a claustrophobic interior…for a 26ft yacht!? Too many uneccesary moving parts and cheap materials to quickly wear out. Some value of a sailboat is in comfort, more in versatility and most in low maintenance. I'd say this one fails in all three.
I've loved this boat for years never seen one in US though. The older ones have this cool wood panel look on the hull as if its a wooden boat made from planks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vck-xtfGolE
they should also ask the seaworthycategorie but as the guy said they have no idea of boats why make a video of something i have no clue and cannot ask qualified questions
Fantastico!
Why are we having to listen to the Greek bloke talk crap who is just trying to get off with the woman . It’s contempt of our intelligence.
They really borrowed a little bit from the McGregor 26 but it looks very well built.🎉
Can this be purchased in the United States?
All the boats, in order to make them easier to tour, have had their keels removed so they sit flat and low. However we viewers are not just newbie looky loos, we are experienced sailors with a keen interest in learning about new models. Do us a favor and point your cam at the drawing that shows the boat in profile so we can see the Keel. In order to make an informed decision about wanting or not wanting a boat the keel plays an absolutely critical role. It's like showing off a new Corvette and showing the upholstery and cool dashboard without describing the suspension. Show us the whole thing.
price?
Can you close up the transom to protect from following seas? Or does it stay open?
Hehe…Swallow
The Boats from Swallow Yachts hast so much Charm. Thanks for this good Video.
Love this design!
