  1. A whole video. Which doesn't say were it is! It's clear that you are no longer in Puget Sound since it isn't 12 °F (-12.5 °C) like it was in Portland this morning!

  2. Wow, ty, I've recently been introduced to Bock an tackle. Mostly for four wheeling activities . I never really understood it.
While I still don't have a firm grip of it, I know more than I did 5 minutes ago.
    Again, T/Y.

  3. Know that fix. I own a Hobie Cat and that is how you fix crunchy pontoons. Suggest using aluminum tape on the bottom side as opposed to painters tape.

Seryl: How did you back the screws below?

  4. Great job on replacing the traveler, deck hardware and interior trim!! Glad you had video to go along with the audio or it could’ve been a little confusing. 😂 “I’m almost in the hole” “I’m going down” “Oh yeah!”

  5. One trick for cutting off bolts is to thread on a few nuts before you cut them. Make the cut then remove the nuts. The undamaged threads will drive the nuts over the cut threads removing any burs from the cut. You can also use the nuts as a point to clamp further protecting the threads during the cut.

  6. The spade looking drill bit is a wood bit. As opposed to the forstner bit on the other drill. 🙂 Forstner bits are usually used with drill presses not hand held drills. But they both work either way.

  7. That beautiful Formosa is in desperate need of sanding, staining, and varnishing especially the exterior woodwork, all of which should have come before replacing or adding hardware. It breaks my heart to see it so badly mistreated in such a way. I realize you guys are not experts, but some things are just common sense. Looks like there is not much of that going on here. So sad to see such half assed work on such a magnificent vessel. Oh well it appears I care more about the boat than they do and that is a crying shame as it does not belong to me. Even if they go back and re-varnish it at a later date, it has decreased in value by several thousand dollars do to poor planning and execution of the tasks at hand. I hope this is just ignorance because if you know better and do it anyway that makes it the other thing. STUPID! 🙁

  8. OMG, Seeing all of that drilling, shackles, pulley's, guides and Traveler's made me nervous and yet it all works! All I can say is WOW! Job well done, you three. Lessons well learned.
