„Luptă pentru FIECARE Ultima milă” | Etapa 2 10/02 | Spectacolul Ocean Race

Vremurile sunt tensionate, deoarece flota IMOCA se adună în drum spre nord-est către Cape Town. Niall Myant-Best prinde din urmă toată acțiunea, în timp ce trio-ul principal format din Team Malizia, Team Holcim-PRB și 11th Hour Racing Team se luptă pentru poziționarea în cursa drag până la linia de sosire! 1. [edit] Ah, never mind. I think you said it around 4:25 "ice limit".
Can you please help us understand what the exclusion zone means? It appears (using The Ocean Race tracker) to be roughly 46°S.
    Thank you in advance.

  2. Excellent show! Thanks to Charlie Enright for his explanations of the adjustments they can make for speed and safety. And about 4:30 Niall pointing out the difference in conditions between Malizia and 11th hour which spurred Malizia's gybe … it is easy watching the tracker to forget that conditions can be dramatically different in short distances. Love the final compilation with music: early highlights and spurs excitement for this last bit.

  3. Would you be able to give us an explainer on the logistics of tacks and gybes? What the crew is doing, timing and trim of the foils/keel/sails, is the autopilot used in these manoeuvres? Thanks

  4. chuck is back in first but it's a paper thin lead, so close!! just nerve racking – come on chuck, go go go! – get the crew out on deck to blow on the sail

  5. Great host, helpful analysis, challenging accents (CC would be welcome), and fantastic imagery….esp that montage w music at the end. Bravo!

  6. Great production, I love hearing the camera persons voice in the clips. Also the end music will stand longer in history than that cheap sailing electro everyone is using these days. Im a big techno fan but this is better than that, great job guys

  7. Would also appreciate impressions of the shore teams from behind the scenes… working for the teams on board… the team works and high tech cooperation is fascinating & the kind of new work we all live 🌬🌬⛵️

  8. We all know how hard they are dealing in that race, the stress, punishment, etc,, but seeing that sweet smile from that french lady in 16:09, she's a one tough beauty we can only find rarely in the sea,

  9. The next leg is going to make this look like a round the buoys race ! I hope the points are pro rated for the length of leg.
    Cheers Warren

  10. Wow! Huge kudos to the film editing and production team. Absolutely top-notch work. The ending sequence, with the triumphant music, on the one hand might seem a little over the top … but it works! The mix of fun and high drama seems just about right. Great commentary, great images … the one of the bird, wow … just makes one want to subscribe … which I did! Happy to follow this race all the way! Congrats!

  11. Did I mention, that the coverage here ist superb, while Eurosport really sucks? Everything is behind a paywall, no live coverage of the arrvial in Cape Town… SailGP and Vendee Globe show the world, how media coverage is done right. On Youtube, available for everyone for free.
