  1. This ship is gorgeous. Absolutely cracker-jack. I would be very interested in a much smaller version though. One stately wooden tender is fine. I was wondering if you had anything on boats with Sharrow propellers installed. They look very interesting.

  2. Sure that Tristan (Super yacht Captain) did a walk around of one of these a couple years ago?…..New one to look at, Sanlorenzo 500EXP "LARS" on yacht sales.

  3. I made a bit harsh comment on the Nordhavn in the last video price/steel comparison.
Now compare this to the Nordhavn. I would go with this even if the toy space is of no use to myself. Quite sexy too.

  4. It's a lovely explorer yacht with a fantastic range in which to cross oceans in, the interior although modern can be specified however you wanted it to be to suit your needs. I enjoyed the massive engine room with it's array of redundancy that gives you the safety of long range cruising. Another good tour John of this Lynx 27.

  5. I really like the ‘bones’ of this craft.. I would decorate it differently, but the foundation is really cool. I really like the wheelhouse, but have a thing for large sis Destroyer wheels 🙂

  6. Every time I see this yacht presented, the details for what the owner uses it for constantly change. I heard it was his main yacht, then it was a support yacht, he used it for corporate events then he was a competitive wind surfer. Oh well. I love these. I wouldn't need a regular yacht. One of these or something like The Beast would be perfect. Like Like Ford F350. Comfortable and carries everything you need

  7. The outer shape is almost perfection and all the better without a flybridge which I personally don't like as a rule. Agree that the interior needs to be a bit more cosy! In a perfect world I'd have a sauna installed and a nice big bath! Interesting boat and performance sounds like a sweet spot.

  8. A bit of owner one upmanship in the harbour bar: owner1, how many deck cranes yours have, I have just a big1. Lynx owner: oh just the 2, but I have so many toys to keep them busy 🧐😎

    Cheers DougT

  9. Another great video John. I'm a big fan of Lynx Yachts and the extreme utility of the YXT 24 and 27 Crossover. They're like 4×4's of the sea with huge engine rooms and massive lazarettes. The huge showers are also incredible and a feature I would also enjoy. The specs on the 27 prove she would be comfortable offshore but with all that toy space on the aft deck, I would be inclined to make this the ultimate extreme coastal explorer. It would definitely go where many "coastal productions cruisers" dare not go. IMHO

  10. I’m thinking the relative sterile-ness of the decor is possibly because this might be originally intended to be a “toy tender”, vs a prinary yacht. I’m thinking that due to its excellent utilty but odd abscence of “party”/luxury amenities. There’s also a model of a decidedly more luxury-focused yacht briefly visible in the rear entry area by the swim platform, which I wonder if that is the main yacht. I could be wrong—and the current owner is “all business” whe he adventure cruises.

  11. For one thing it's a beautiful design. It's functionality seems to be exactly as the owner wanted. Everything seems perfect for guests and just chilling with friends old and new. You have my blessings, carry on. LoL 🤣 jk.

  12. I especially like the angled Bulwarks. Yes I had to look up the spelling of Bulwarks. I accept only moderate liability if I spelled it wrong…

  13. Some very distinct stutter going on in your vid.
Not sure what's going on there..frame rate?
I'm in HD 1440p and on gig-Fibre with plenty buffered.

  14. Seems like a lot of boat for the $ , but has almost no covered exterior space and a minimum of accomodations for its size. That being said i think i would rather have a b77 , i like the bering wheelhouse better and there is a lot to be said for staying under 78 ' , just sayin

  15. Looks like it was designed, specified and plainly fitted out (far from luxurious as you kept stating), as a support vessel to a much larger super yacht. For $6.6M the interior is quite boring and looks no more special than any other production yacht. No doubt they would specify to any level depending on how deep your pockets are. I personally don't think it delivers as what it terms a "crossover" yacht. There are no on board amenties for guests other than ordinary seating postions and dull cabin spaces. It's a boat that I would not like to spend a lot of time on. It's all about the water toys, I get that, but what do you do on this vessel when you can't use those toys? That's a lot of money to spend on such a specific use boat.
