A joy to watch!
99 hours, but the boat ain’t done. Classic
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Wanderfull wat you are doing don,t ik je at the time do of on your ons way perfect.
Very enjoyable but so much work you are going to have a wonderful tender for magic carpet too. The offset dagger board concept was interesting obviously under sail their performance will be a little different for up in Sailing but it looks like it will be a lot of fun to sail and row. Wonderful workmanship, what will you call her?
What an impressive kit. Well thought out, creative use of materials to make it light and strong, and beautiful lines. Another great educational and entertaining video. I totally get the satisfaction of symmetrical tape lines.
Watching men work would normally drive me crazy. But Aladino is so precise. I love watching him work and you can almost feel the pleasure he gets from the work and the Beuty of the finished product is amazing.
It's nice watching someone work on a project who is as anal as I am.
I was interested to see you using the West epoxy again. I started using it having seen you work with it earlier on MC2. I find the ability to so easily adjust the viscosity with filler makes it so versatile in having exactly the right mix for the application.
So many thanks!!
Peter
Every boat shop should have a Satellit 800 radio ! 🙂
for a kit boat, it really has very nice lines.
99 hours! Ha! You da man!!! Wish I knew when you were in Port Townsend! My Pops and I would give you two a hand! We both watch ya’ll and we’re both near there. We’re fans!
Your brother is hysterical and has all the makings of a true artist.
She's looking beautiful! Do you have a name for her yet?
Love the adr at 13:08
To misquote Shakespear "Epoxy on both your boats." Plus… MORE Otis R.
Coming along nicely!
I have the exact same radio your father has in his shop, it is a great German radio that you can listen to the world 😊
I laughed out loud when your brother said "take off!"
The Owl and the Pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat !!
I appreciate your skill level. Great work. Thanks for sharing.
It’s been very interesting couple of episodes, always wondered how that stitch method worked..⛵️🪚
Looks very similar to the tender used by Sailing Yatch Florence!
Good show
Cheers
One of your very best !..
Love the build
Fantastic work! It was exciting for me just watching the video. I can imagine how exciting it was for you! How I longed to see your work of art, Aladdin, at work. It's amazing how your skilful hands made a very beautifully shaped and hydrodynamic little boat! A very big hug
Hi,Any frustration and impatience will be worthwhile at the end of the day, with the reward of looking at and sailing in a beautiful little boat..ALL down to your skills and perseverance.Well done to you both, you compliment each other very well.Cheers,Roly 🇬🇧.
A work of art! Fantastic Aladino!
I look forward to see it sailing, well done.
What brand is that HEPA dust filter/collector @22:15?
Having been a Christmas-eve skipper my whole life, and having found quite the company of other Christmas-eve skipping people over the years, I doubt I ever had such an awesome reason (or excuse) like "I just got to glue my already zip-tie stitched tender dinghy together really quick!", even with having worked on boats two Christmas eves in a row as an apprentice for deadline reasons ….. That thing looks astonishingly boaty for a stitch'n glue, which lets me think what I saw to date were more like lawyer's and dentist's hobby stitch'n glue "3-dimensional forms" than a real boatbuilder's boats. Can't wait seeing
ither sailing and being rowed with the two of You aboard. Thanks for sharing!I wonder how many hours are lost to perfectionism, and how many are gained back through ability and experience.
Haven’t watched video yet but YES it can be that easy IF YOU ARE DOING IT! 😂. Let me know when you can have one done for me. You guys should sail the Great Lakes!
Beautiful job! Congrats
Totally enjoyed your work building this so pretty dinghy.
Excellent! Help, please… what is the name of the band and song: "… When you hit the ground I can recall the time and place // on a mignight walk…" Thank you!
I love this show! I hope you two can work together and stay together as well.
Not only were they working on Christmas Eve, but in short sleeves. Is this shed heated? Here in central Illinois, our temperatures were down to 2°F—and that was the high.
WOW! So nice to watch.!
Thanks!
I May be a bit late to the party on this one, but it was still a treat to watch.
Aladino’s craftsmanship never fails to amaze, and my jaw literally dropped when I saw the fiberglass job on the keel. Can’t wait to see her out on the water with MCII. Also, Aladino if you’re reading this, keep up the puns. The 99 Hours one was great. Just wondering, what was the name of the song from 0:25? It was used in a poetry reading video I watched from a long time ago, and hearing it here gave me instant nostalgia. That aside, beautiful build and hope to see more like it!

Aladino, you are quality over quantity. A man after life's heart.
Great job Aladino. Everything looks wonderful, but the 10 foot length makes me worry a bit.
