Apoi am navigat spre Maine, iar de acolo pe coasta de est a SUA, în jurul Capului Hatteras, până în Bahamas, înapoi la Miami și apoi spre Insulele Virgine. De acolo ne-am îndreptat spre sud, spre Grenada, pentru a scăpa de sezonul uraganelor, apoi înapoi la St. Maarten, unde am lansat prima noastră traversare a Atlanticului către Horta, Azore. Am făcut o călătorie rapidă înapoi în SUA în iulie ’21 pentru a ne apăra titlul general Chicago – Mackinac Race, apoi a fost înapoi la croazieră în Canare, unde am lansat pentru a doua noastră călătorie transatlantică, navigând către Brazilia în America de Sud și pe spre Uruguay. Scopul nostru este să navigăm în jurul lumii prin Capul Horn, iar acolo ne îndreptăm acum. Looking good Sweet Ruca crew! That end-boom sheeting setup is well done on big J boats! Do you run a legit preventer line also? We started running a line from the end of the boom to a block way forward and back to the cockpit when on one long tack. Even when not needed to prevent a gybe, it keeps the boom from flopping in lumpier seas.

wasn’t any modern grocery stores what to say of finding hardware stores and so
many people traveling.

Its getting down to the really hairy part of rounding out the continent. Exciting stuff! Roxy sure takes up a lot of bed space. So does my cat. A King bed with two people squashed into about a quarter of it and the kitty taking up the rest. I hope that bottom job lasts you a while, I find that to be one of my biggest challenges, but I am a seasonal sailor. I use Petit's High copper hard paint. Three coats of that last me a long time. I would say between 3-5 seasons depending on my activity.
Very good, excellent, sailing to the south you will come across the Valdéz Peninsula with two gulfs of excellence for anchoring, to the north Golfo San José, to the south San Jorge with Puerto Piramides, be careful with the calculation of tides they are sizygyns and the differences may be greater at 5 meters. A PLACE where you can only hear the wind, the forty bellowers. GOOD FORTUNE AND BLESSINGS.

I was down the Falklands in 82, When the ones who call it something else where firing missiles at me. I had just turn 18 on way down. I fought for my Queen and Country. I served on RFA OLNA tanker refueling the warships. Be careful down there it is the weather can change in minutes. We had no hot food but baked potatoes fore five days. Tanker is a big ship yours is not. Fair winds calm seas. Besafe.

Hi Sweet Ruca crew. Sorry to hear that your still dealing with sea sickness. Just wondering if you've tried ginger for a remedy. I used to get motion sickness until I tried it and never had the problem again. You can use fresh ginger root in your cooking, dried and candied or powdered it all worked for me. Love your channel.
