PRIME DAY!! (MJ Sailing - Ep 273)

! Sperăm să vă placă! 1. I have been watching since the first container arrival and I have to tell you guys I am very impressed with your progress. Your attention to detail. your eye for quality of work is also impressive. Cant wait to see it sailing off. Do you guys have an estimated splash date yet?

  2. I'm wondering what will be the difference in fit and finish between your boat and a factory built boat? Additionally, how can a boatyard make a profit if they have to have workers spend the same number of hours doing prep work? That brings up the question of how much are you saving by doing this work yourselves?

I understand wanting to build stronger and to customize, but do you REALLY think it's worth all that sanding?

  3. Im no painting expert, but think you are using a gravity fed gun, so you should try and keep the pot upright and index the nossle. I would also get some advice on suitable nossle/jet size appropriate to the viscosity of your paint….will save you time and money in the long run.

  4. Love your channel …Keep up the hard work boat is looking great ..I know there is still lots to do ..But it won't be long and before you know it you will be on the water again …

  5. Workin' hard….doesn't even scratch the surface of what yous guys is doin' here. Ya'll got the sickness fer sure!!

Keep up the fantastical work!!! It's awe-inspiring to watch!!

  6. This is a good stage, your hard work on the "bodywork" is now starting to pay you back. Anytime you can take a step that instantly shows a change is a good thing, recharges your energy.

  7. I admire how meticulous you guys are. Rounding over edges, ensuring areas a level and flat. Great qualities and it only takes a little longer for a much better quality finish overall.

  8. Something you guys may want to take a look at since you're in the process of building your boat. At "Gone With the Wynns" "Lightning And An Electric Boat?" They show a anti lighting strike device invented by Nikola Tesla that shows some real promise. Up front it cost around $10k to install and it's still for the most part unproven but it's worth a look see. 🖖

  9. Congrats on prime day! Great job guys, closer and closer to the fixtures and fittings. Thats my favorite part of any build and as a designer I am very envious. Getting more exciting every day. Stay safe J.

  10. Just to let you know, I just finished a binge watch of several episodes. Seems, for some reason, your site hasn't been coming up lately! Still shows I'm subscribed, but it hasn't been coming up in my feed!! Weird!!

  11. 9:03 … quite an amount of boat 😂usually not visible with Your camera-angles and detail focused image sections. Catches my eye and deepens my respect every time such "overall" glimpses run over the screen. Thanks for sharing.

  12. What a difference priming makes, all those hours sanding pays off when you have lovely smooth finish.
Take care guys, spring has officially started in Cornwall the magnolia tree has flowered.

  13. It's finally starting to look like a boat. You must be thrilled. Keep up the good work. Congratulations on having the patience to take your time and do it right.

  14. Generally the spray gun is kept vertical and the nozzle is rotated to change the orientation of the spray pattern. Turning the gun sideways works while you have enough paint too. Also, the paint/primer should seem very runny compared to roll or brushing. Looks great though. Thanks for taking us along.
