Navigating through stormy seas can be a challenging and dangerous task for any ship, including giant oil tanker ships. These vessels are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and have safety protocols in place to ensure the safety of the crew, cargo, and the environment. However, it's important to note that even with all the safety measures and precautions in place, there is still a risk of accidents and environmental damage. It's crucial that the crew of these ships undergoes rigorous training and is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle emergency situations effectively. Furthermore, as a society, we need to recognize the potential consequences of relying on oil as our primary energy source and work towards transitioning to more sustainable and renewable energy sources. By reducing our dependence on oil, we can lessen the need for oil tanker ships, and in turn, reduce the potential risks associated with their transportation.
MASTER!… BE WISE &CUNNING!….. 45° with a wave is dead result…. Why u do test the fates of all screw?….
The seas in the first clip are just like a typhoon I went through in the mid '60s on an old WW2 LST (Landing Ship, Tank) when I was still a teen. The midships main deck cracked in multiple places and when we arrived in Japan we found plates broken on the bottom when they inspected some ballast tanks and found fish swimming in one. It was a thrill as a "fearless" young man, but I wouldn't care to repeat the experience in my old age…
that wave at 2:40…………..WOW!
Really I don't undertand what happen today at sea, when i saw wabes high just only with my right hand and thumb finger up and the other 4 closed triedro sweep the crest wabe and inmediatly aa wheather report pisitiion, speed, radio, ect of course we added navigation days but used nobody be in a hurry safe FIRST CARGO SHIP AND CREW IS OUR JOB
