  1. Phew so much hard work for you both…..well done as I imagine you are excited like we are to see finished product! Tallula is speaking a lot “ice cream” licking her lips very cute! 🤗❤️ Take care fellow Aussies! 🇦🇺🍻

  2. It's always amazing to watch people who have goals, set goals and work hard to accomplish those goals. Amazing job guys.

  3. Great episode you guy’s, what we don’t see is the heat your working in I bet it drains you.
Cold 🥶 here in Southwest England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. so don’t complain 😂😂😂😂😂
Take care all of you thanks for sharing with us and don’t apologise for having time to yourself without filming, you need the time off just to relax. See you on the next instalment of
    Nandji 2.0 the return.

  4. Hi Josh, I have a tip for when you are using your jigsaw to cut the 1/4" teak ply. Currently you are just cutting across the grain and your blade is causing the board to separate along the cut edge. I saw a video by a woodworking pro. He uses the green painter tape about two inches wide and applies it on the surface of the teak plywood to be cut then he marks his cut line on top of the tape and then cuts it using the jigsaw like normal. When the cut is completed and the tape is removed there is no ripping of the wood along the edge for a perfect cut.

  5. You are both such an inspiration! You deserve every bit of happiness this magnificent vessel gives you.
Thanks for the Tallulah cam! She is so stinkin cute!!! I love her big brown eyes.

  6. Oh i so hope the new owners appreciate FANG; ya'll made Old Smokey work for a long time but FANG took you to the next sailing level!

  7. Boat building in flip flops. Love it. Amazing job. Will be so worthwhile when it’s all done. Great teamwork. You deserve all your success on here.

  8. Hi guys good job, just one point check the mould killer and make sure it does not have bleach in it as this will feed the mould. It will take away the discouloristion with scrubbing but it will come back. To kill mould properly use a solution of 80% raw vinegar to 20% water or 70% methylated spirits to 30% water, spray on all surfaces and let it dry naturally. I used to work in mould remediation in North Western Australia and this is what we used. A thing to remember about mould is it takes dirt plus moister plus time, by keeping things dry and aired out mould will not grow. Regular applications so said spray will also keep it in check.
Enjoy your boat work and may you have fair winds.

  9. I`m just guessing of course but if you use West systems epoxy for all your work you might want to consider a different epoxy. Thinner. West system is a good product but the thing is its used often because it cures at room temps. If you are in a hot environment you could do much better with a product like proset laminating resin. Much stiffer epoxy but the viscosity allows it is seal up your work better also. A big reason for West System being so popular is it`s curing rate at less than Idea temps. aka marine applications often. You guys never have to deal with temps in the 60`s

  10. Bonita the beauty and Josh the sweetheart slugging it out in the boatyard. How can you not love these three? Best sailing channel on youtube bar none. Ah to be 30 years younger, I'd grab a sander and be there with you .

  11. I've seen some people who took their cupboards down to the hull and then faired it and covered it with epoxy paint. It looked really nice

  12. For ventilation purposes the back side should not be entirely closed. At least some little holes are necessary. And the compartments behind should be connected so air can flow out fore or aft. I do restore wooden boats and there are lots of completely destroyed boats because of closing compartments.
