  1. Love street food, thats where you get the local feel for any place. Can't be done until after you have the local belly bug finished it's run🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Did I see people cleaning the trash from the water… Amazing. I love that he used paper for the satay chicken, not plastic.

  2. Hi amazing vblog food to die for at unbelievable prices.
Jarkata looks do blean no rubbish in the streets.
Those bikes look alot of fun and great way to see things 😀
That Chinese ship was 55 meters wide crazy engineering from the past.
Must of carried alot of silver.
Did you get the map of where it sank might be worth a visit on your next lot of adventures back towards Australia 🇦🇺 was the wreck ever found?
I noticed no cars just scooters as transportation great idea.
Now what prize do I get for the mystery word Dog 🐕 🤔 Ivan you forgot to mention what the prize was?
Hope your all keeping well and safe
    Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
    Take care Cheers from the Tron team 👍 👏 🙌 👌 😎 😀 👍

  3. Even without knowing what Rob would/DID eat or chew, the food, even Angel Wings (🐕/🐈) looks 😋
    👍👏

  4. A rich slice of life: good and inexpensive food always brings out the best in us. I remember the brochette places on the Grand Socco in Tangier with happy memories – I eventually gave up on the fancy French places in the boulevard district.
Do you have your own, new blog called kiwiboysofficial? One came on my feed (thumbs up, natch) but tried to key in kiwiboysofficial with no luck. I persevere….
Regards. Thanks again; I've long been fascinated by Indonesia for good and bad reasons.

  5. Hello Kiwis, that food really looks good. This place would be a great place to explore love the museum stay safe and blessings to you all

  6. KFC sucks! Street food and hole in the wall restaurants usually have the best food and large portions at a great price but usually in the shady part of town were only the brave will journey. What a reward though! Oh yeah the history lesson and museums the top off with some education 👌

  7. Hey, I have to say back in the day KFC original recipe was awesome. Especially when it came fresh out the pressure cooker. ( drool …highschool job). Love your videos keep it up.

  8. There's a listing on Wikipedia about a mahogany shipwreck, possibly Chinese, recorded in the dunes of a beach in Armstrong Bay area of Victoria Australia 🇦🇺

  9. How far are you from what used to be known as Biak? Back when the Polar Route was flown from Europe to Japan via Anchorage, Alaska, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines happened to be one of the carriers that flew that route from Amsterdam terminating in Biak. The Polar Route was the quickest way to get to Asia from Europe versus flying via India and this was via prop aircraft. When jets started flying, taking the Polar Route was even faster since there weren't the long range jets available to fly over Russia as there is today.
    Take care and stay safe!

  10. Yes! Riding a scooter like locals again. With half a ton of freight and two people. All needed to make it complete was six kids as well! That food looked sooooo good!

  11. Stadhuis Batavia was similiar with Amsterdam stadhuis Paleis. Established by J.P Coen in 1620 and renovated by Joan van Hoorn in 1707. Batavia old town is very similiar with Amsterdam city

  12. Love your video as always! But could you please not show your terrible table manners too much? Showing great food is one thing… 😅

  13. Just remembered reading a book many many years ago by a retired Norwegian aid worker that Indonesia was one of the most corrupt contries in the world. Overrated or not? Lol

  14. Another great and enjoyable video. Just love seeing the culture of these places. Food looked good and the shorts are a great idea. Keep well and safe. James.

  15. To my unskilled eyes, this might be your best video yet. Loved those street food scenes. Made me hungry, seriously. And trying to load up a bike like the locals, well, let's say, to about half "local" capacity. And those historic scenes. Had no idea it was like that there. Finding freedom from all our over cautious "first world" foolishness. Keep on!!

  16. So was it dog…the bleeped out word? Or was that deliberate "mistake" just a red herring.? OK dog is my final answer.
Another great episode folks. Great history lesson too. Thank you CK's for sharing. Take care. Until next time, atb.

  17. I'm very leary of street food. Sanitation is lacking, IMHO. I know recently of another sailing channels child getting parasites, which are common in Indonesia. As an American, I have high standards for cleanliness in food prep. It's hard for me to watch. Best I prepare my food. Thanks for sharing. 🍽

  18. Living the best life you can lead has risk and comes with many rewards. I would rather be on a motorbike in Jakarta carrying fuel than sitting in an office any day of the week! Keep up the awesome adventuring!!!
