  1. When the audio is tuned with no highs and bumpy bass, the effort was clearly made to calibrate the features to its intended audience. This was made to scare old people in their 20-year-old Camry and Avalon retirement vehicles, and to know it's proper place and to bow in the presence of an Escalade.

  2. I've never understood the Chevy / GMC thing. The Yukon / Tahoe are identical with the exception of the badge and always have been. Same with literally every other GMC product.

  3. And those seat massage features will come in handy when you are stranded on the side of the road when the infamous GM automatic transmission blows out before 80K miles

  4. Anyone actually considering this vehicle. Run the #'s with a 8% rate auto loan for 60mo and then comment. Now stretch it to 96mo to see what the payments will be, but how much interest you will have to pay.

  5. We got the Denali XL, and that alone will save you a ton and get you 99% of the way there. I think the real question is, are these options worth the premium over regular Denali?

  6. Muddy, muffled, unbalanced bass heavy audio….unfortunately that's the sound profile many consumers expect and have been taught by industry to think is "good".

  7. 2006-2016 all Chevy and gmc have poor transmission between 50k-150k miles. It's poorly designed as to make money off the consumer. Don't by the truck because it looks nice, always talk to mechanics about what truck are better build such as the Toyota's. They re the best in the business, forerunner and landcruiser (the v6, v8) not the v6 twin turbo and/ hybrid system, they got lots of problems.

  8. I'm driving a wagoneer series 3 now as a rental for 1 week. What crap it is, the rear diff won't unlock and makes it unbearable to make tight turns, the start/stop turns on and off at will, the tranny has no idea what it's doing and the rear auto hatch works sporadically.
2 positive notes are the infotainment is large and well placed, and the engine is super powerful.
I'd be wicked pissed if I paid 100k for this junk. I'm glad I rented it so now I know to stay clear on my next purchase.

  9. Not a fan of the new body style. Old gen was so much classier, sportier with its straight lines. The new exterior iteration has odd elements of angles and its just ‘obtuse’ compared to to the old gen, yet the interior is beautiful but not on a manly level of confidence. The new price is ridiculous b it then so is the looks. Try to hard to please and you get this lgbtq kinda thing.

  10. Many of these are driven by women—they must feel safe in them while wreaking havoc on other drivers, of whose existence they are barely aware.

  11. People love these too. Would never buy this for 100k especially when they have x7 SQ7 Gls lx600 and range rovers in that price range. 100k Tahoe no way.

  12. I'm calling absolute, unmitigated BS on the line where you dog on the ZF 8-Speed in the FCA products. I have driven V6 and V8 models with that transmission and it NEVER had a weird shift or ever gotten "hung up". By most accounts, the ZF 8-Speed is still a better transmission than the Ford/GM joint 10-speed. In the Ford products, that 10-speed is absolute garbage.

  13. My friend works for GM as an engineer. He gets to take home almost any SUV or truck you can think of, and they're all 1 year ahead of what's available. We drove around last summer in northern MI in this exact vehicle. I drive a little ford fiesta as my daily. This Yukon was absolutely amazing. I'd never ever spend that kind of money, but if you think you can afford it, it's plush as all hell.

  14. Mannnn people got no respec for a rig that does everything from off-road tactical assault vehicle to luxury limo…c'mon now!!
