3. Nice work Lauren, label, label ,label! All of your work. It is a good idea to take that schematic and laminate it then add to your ship records. This always makes it easy to troubleshoot, repair or change things. Most people don’t understand fusing or circuit breaker’s. Just like in the house box, you always want the circuit breaker,fuse, close to the power supply. Awesome work, good to see you were warning your safety shoes around the batteries. Lol just kidding. Very nice work.

5. Great job Lauren. Also, I am happy to finally see a youtube sailor using the correct tools when working with these batteries and associated connections. Most of the other channels are either using multigrip spanners which are just so wrong, or they are using socket sets to do them up. Sockets work so well and easy that it is an often found problem of stripping nuts and bolts, because of the amount of force that can so easily be applied to the nut. Using open ended and ring spanners is the best way because you have full control over how much force you can put on any nut that your are tightening. They make you put more leverage onto the nut when needed and you can feel what is happening to the job as you tighten it. You were taught well!

17. Hello. Miss Lauren Landers.　　I am interested in your yacht life and have been listening to your videos.。When I was watching your video, there were many things that bothered me.。Let me begin with the conclusion.. It seems that someone is using ultrasound to harm you.. This video confirmed it..
    There are several points where I judged that you were harmed by using ultrasound.. You had three unnatural coughs. Your coughing is a phenomenon that occurs when your body eliminates foreign objects caused by the ultrasonic waves injecting dust particles into your nose.. Your left eyelid is slightly swollen.. 4 minutes 52 seconds. A working sound is heard between 5 minutes 10 seconds and 5 minutes 30 seconds. Afterwards, you cleared your throat..

20. Should have went alternator to house batteries and then dc to dc charger to start battery cause a 40amp charger to charge the amount of lithium you have will take forever to charge

Hopefully helpful comment… Lithium s want/need to be fed, ad more panels ASAP… Don't ignore/abandon the wind Gen, hook it up to your starter batt's, the AGM's/floooded cells won't have a problem with the charging, and, then, charge the lithium s from them with the DC/DC charger….. 29. Lauren, congrats on upgrading to lithium. You will be very pleased and so will all the circuit boards in your devices.
    
    However, there are a few things you should consider changing as time allows.

    First, the all batteries should not run straight to the bus bars. They should all be hooked in parallel (+ to + to + and – to – to – making a signal battery bank) then the positive on #1 battery to a breaker the on the the positive bus bar. Then the negative of #3 battery to the shunt and “nothing else” on that side of the shunt. Then hook the other end of the shunt to the negative bus bar. (The way you have other things connected through the bus bar you will not get an honest read out from the shunt to the displays.) This way all the batteries that make up the bank will be charging and discharging equally as a family. Otherwise, due to the differences in resistance in the cables (1” makes a difference) and the connectors the batteries will not share the load total equal and as time goes on it will wear on one battery more then the others. The BMS in the batteries will not fully handle the unequal load.

    Second, I would not run the dc-dc on the starter battery but hook in directly to the alternator and isolate the dc-dc from the st battery. That way there will not be the possibility of forgetting to flip the switch and draining the starter battery and a very critical time of sail into a storm or pulling into a marina.

    Third, you do not need to disconnect the wind generator. Even if it charges at a lower voltage than the lithium can use fully. The lithium does not care and with some charge coming (13.3v ?? from the current wind gen) in at night the bank’s state of charge will be much higher than without the wind gen and ready to take on the world on cloudy/non solar days.

30. You should be careful with high capacity Lithium batteries, because they are subject to over heating and may cause vicious fire, therefore you must separate them with cooling radiators in between

I’m a marine electrician of 40 years and this is the worst battery install I’ve seen in my life I was waiting for your steel bangle to burn your wrist off maybe next time take it off when your doing battery work also your battery’s are in the bilge no electrical anything should be in the bilge as that’s were water is, water will come down your stairs enter your bilge we’re your battery’s live, it only takes one wave and you’ve lost all your electronics your boat Is seriously a mess and a ticking time bomb
