  1. Thank you so much eSysman. I'd heard all these conflicting various stories about Alpha Nero. You make sense and explain things clearly. I'm interested a few of these super yachts a bit more than others for various reasons. Alpha Nero is one of them. I saw some video and information from a site where she was for charter, just overall astonishingly well appointed but not overly gaudy considering. Thanks for sorting out the wild tales and discrepancies. And poor Phi. Stuck there at Canary Wharf all this time. Sort of pathetic the reporter couldn't have gotten it right. Could potentially have helped get her released. Now, who knows. Appreciate you taking time to set the record straight.

  2. Good Evening E Sysman & Fellow Yachting Enthusiasts: Thank you again for another wonderful video. It's a shame that there are a number of Yachting accidents lately. Either they were never reported earlier or there sees to be an increase all of a sudden. Thank you for a classy informative channel, TMP from N.J.

  3. eSysman do you ever sleep?? From Scotland, to wherever, plus quality videos on multiple sites, editing, fact-checking et al, when do you sleep?? As always, well-done post, top-shelf and the flagship of the genre! Cheers.

  4. Looked up what NAVFAC is responsible for. Got this:

As a department of the U.S. Military, the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) is responsible for investigating and addressing a wide range of engineering and expeditionary warfare issues and challenges faced by the Navy and Marine Corps.

Some of the specific responsibilities of the NAVFAC EXWC may include:

Designing, constructing, and maintaining facilities and infrastructure that support naval operations around the world. This could include everything from barracks and offices to runways and ports.

Developing and implementing advanced technologies and systems to enhance the Navy's ability to conduct expeditionary warfare operations. This could include robotics, unmanned systems, and other advanced technologies.

Conducting research and development to improve the performance and safety of Navy ships and aircraft.

Providing training and support to Navy and Marine Corps personnel in a variety of areas, including engineering, environmental compliance, and emergency response.

Supporting humanitarian missions and disaster relief efforts around the world.

Overall, the NAVFAC EXWC is responsible for ensuring that the Navy and Marine Corps have the infrastructure, technology, and expertise they need to carry out their missions effectively and efficiently, both at home and abroad.

  5. Well that Express article was just plain weird – Robert Fisk was a highly respected broadsheet journalist/foreign correspondent for years… he died in October 2020. Why on earth would the Express attribute the article to him? He was one of the old-school types who would insist that veracity and integrity in reporting are paramount. What’s the Express playing at?

Excellent video as usual, eSysman, thank you; appreciate all the effort you put into them, Cheers 👏

  6. After covering costs, the money left over should be given to the Ukrainian government, after all, the russian invasion of Ukraine is the reason the boat was left/abandoned/siezed (whatever). That is what is happening elsewhere when sanctioned owners or equipment has been dealt with.

  7. "I f you read newspapers you are misinformed, if you don't read newspapers you are un-informed". Mark Twain. I think its all about the provenance of where you get your information .

  8. "NAVFAC?" That's nothing, when the U.S. Navy puts its mind to it: I was stationed for a time at something in Subic Bay, the Philippines, called "FICPACFAC-FAPL-FAKPAT" during the Vietnam war. Translation: Fleet Intelligence Center Pacific Facility – Fleet Air Photo Lab – Forward Area Keypunching and Transmittal. Really. 🤣

  9. I find it ironic the 007 sunk.. if you think about it, James bond blew up every car truck and plane he ever drove..

  10. Thank you for the update on the Alpha Nero. The government is stating that the Super Yacht would be renamed and given an Antigua Barbuda registration so that any new owner could operate the vessel…

  11. London: Seems like some reporters are using chatGP4 to write their articles and get paid for them …
Petrel: The "undercover" CIA agents going by the acronym of NAVFAC (LOL) will find out that when a centre of gravity is unstable, things topple over. Something 12 year olds learn in primary school …
Alfa Nero: 40 crew ! – Simply a nice way of positioning Russian agents anywhere around the world without raising too many eyebrows.

  12. Sergei Naumenko is nowhere to be found on the internet, so maybe another made up name but Vitally Kochetkov is well known, Very wealthy Russian who lives in the EU for good reason, and is linked to another large yacht which is his previous yacht and is for sale, he could be the beneficial owner

  13. I too would like to claim ownership of Alfa Nero. Now, if someone would like to claim ownership of the fuel bill and perhaps someone else would like to claim ownership of the crew salaries, I'd gladly invite you all to join me on board this summer.

  14. 7:15, Alexander Mavrodi"😅. Mavrodi- is a late well-known russian ponzi-scheme creator, his name associated with conmen. so most probably, mentioned claim is a sophisticated joke.

  15. In this video, it appears that the video and audio repeated as if it was edited but the part that should have been edited, remained.

  16. Surely Alpha's insure's would know who the owner is. Or is it not that simple? Intresting post as always though 👍👏

  17. my Government if they sell the boat ALL monies should go to Ukraine in my view, keeping any monies would be a sin and we must help rebuild. Browne our PM must wake up and smell the coffee.

  18. If the yacht is indeed owned by an oligarch, the profits from the sale, once all debts have been paid, should go to Ukraine and not Antigua and Barbuda.

  19. It might be interesting to hear the justification as to how the Alpha Nero being abandoned is a threat to the 'well being of the country', sounds like 'the government' are just about ready to steal the yacht and make a pretty penny out of selling it on.
