  1. Well done atlas truly has bonded with you two . Let fear be your friend and not your enemy. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish. And now I have to wait another week for next episode. You both are doing amazing x

  2. Well done lads !! thats the Atlantic for now , the Pacific awaits now , what wave heights do you estimate in this episode guys ? Fair winds !!

  3. You really captured what it can be like out there, thamks. I had similar conditions between French Polynesia and Beveridge Reef last year, had to run off under staysail only for two nights. Triple-reefed main was too big.

  4. Great Passage fellas. Them waves will get ya talking to Jesus…! Not for the faint hearted. " Hey, this was supposed to be a Pleasure Cruise?" Lol. I would get a new bow light and heat shrink the wire connections and use liquid tape ontop of THAT!…Seal it forever. This is the the point that gets buried in waves…driving rain.

  5. Somewhat late in commenting this week. You boyos had me worried with those big breakers coming in. Atlas seems to be great in those conditions. I did have a look on the webcams of the Panama Canal but didn’t see you, will look forward to your uploads. Had more adverts today so hoping you are moving up in the YouTube algorhytm. Sure that lots of us sharing your adventures are crossing their fingers for a wonderful, stress free, trip across that whopping big ocean. And looking forward to your footage . Stay safe lads.

  6. I would have to say chickenshit! Colombia, Brazil with the Amazon. Uruguay to see. Which is quite beautiful and cool . Argentina. And everything else going that way. You complain about a can of Coke being $3. wait until you go through the Panama canal. You better practice bending over. I'm unsubscribing because you having a real content anymore.

  7. I cannot believe I did something B4 you guys. Back in December we chartered a yacht (with a skipper, coward I know) & sailed from Cartagena to San Blas then on to Panama.
Leaving Cartagena around midnight, we had a gentle chug east for 5 hours B4 hitting current, 20+ easterlies & climbing seas. We maxed out at consistent 4-5m waves for a whole 30 hours. It was remorseless & exhausting despite short watches.
The pay off was the SB islands. I remain blown by the today, some 4 months or so later.
After SB the sea moderated but the wind remained in that 20-30kts ark which had you constantly looking over your shoulder.
BUT, never mind me guys, loved the vid ……. yet again. I’m running out of expletives.
    Just keep ‘em coming.

  8. Wow boys, that footage of the massive waves really made me anxious! (I think your reactions helped that to be honest lol) – And watching i thought i bet the camera hasn't captured the real size! Glad it all went well :)) Cheers!

  9. I watched in awe lads; the first around the world solo sailer Captain Joshu Slocum wrote; Remember Lord, my boat is very small and your seas so great¨

  10. Amazing video lads, you have come on a long way since sailing around the uk. Those waves were huge and you just took it in your stride. Rock on Gwynfor 👍

  11. I look forward to every episode, but you scare me sometimes. I don't think I've seen you wear life vests, especially with those big waves!!!

  12. Well done, chicos! Skills plus guts, winning combination. Great choice of music too—those soothing piano notes oddly underscore the formidable seas besieging you. Greetings from Spain

  13. While sailing from the Bay of Honda on the north coast of Columbia SA around to Santa Marta, Columbia SA we were hit with Christmas winds so strong that the seas were horribly confused. Our auto pilot could not handle the conditions. We had to hand steer for 12 hours. You could only stand for about 1 hour at a time until your arms were exhausted. It was nearly impossible to keep our course. Once we finally reached port I did not want to think about sailing under those conditions again. That was the worst I had ever seen.
Our weather router had given us calm seas and gentle winds in our forecast. No way to know what we had to face till we were stuck in it.
    ⛵. ⚡. 💦. 🌩️. 🌊 🥺

  14. A few hair raising moments there 😩. You all coped very well and Atlas looked like she was enjoying herself.⛵⛵🤣. Take care and keep living the dream. Your transit through the Panama canal will bring back some great memories for me……I can't wait.🙏🙏

  15. Good sailing in prep for the pacific lads. But where were those life jackets and safety lines lads? Youve done so well, just please please please get them jackets on especially for those pacific swells!

  16. You guys may or may not know this but your wire stripper tool should have a crimper on it instead of using the needle nose pliers to crimp on "stake ons"

  17. Tuckin' into them Beans…with a serious purpose! Don't lose your will to live…at the end of days there will be a very small Chapter in the Book Of Life of blokes that lived life well…most Souls will not be in that Chapter, you 2 will certainly be in that tiny Chapter…. thank you so much for sharing your Adventures!

  18. Well guys, my friend set me off following your New York special then between following you all the way to Jamaica, I saw you go right around the UK. Now I have run out of episodes, how am I going to cope with just 1 a week?😮 safe passage to Panama looking forward to the canal and the Pacific. Love your fantastic channel, stay safe 👍

  19. Hi Adam Hi Luke, that must’ve been so hard working on that bow light, but we’ll done Luke. But when under sail, you should only be using the the masthead tricolour, the bow & stern lights are for motoring (under power). Also, when sailing at night, always have a powerful torch 🔦 to play on the mainsail when close to other shipping, so effective.
Wherever you are at the moment, it’s Good Friday tomorrow, so may I wish you both a Happy Easter. 👍👍

  20. Nice, I'm gonna follow this.
I'm beginning to think I was very unlucky in my year in the Norwegian Navy. The best passage Bergen-Skagen looked like that, and the others were like being in a frothy washing machine, never less than 45 knot winds. The worst one was Edinburgh-Bergen with a 60 knot Northerly against the current. I was stood 45 feet up on the bridge and looking UP at the rogue waves. I can't imagine sailing in that, but sailing is what I want to begin with so I suppose I can't outrun it and it's bound to happen? But where are the videos of people who did?

  21. Great video guys I bet your glad you didn't get conditions like this on your first sail ! Would it have put you off ?
It's like being on a rollercoaster that you can't get off & just have to push through' you definitely have chose the right boat
What a great advert for a rival
