După 2 luni lungi de muncă cu barca, SPLASH DAY este în sfârșit aici!!! Punem noua noastră barcă în apă pentru prima dată! https://www.sailingnandji.com Multe s-au schimbat în lumea noastră în ultimul timp… Am început 2023 din plin înainte cu câteva schimbări drastice în viețile noastre. Ajunși înapoi în Thailanda, după ce am călătorit pe insulele Sumatra de Vest pentru acest sezon, ne-am stabilit un obiectiv foarte provocator de a vinde iubita noastră barca cu pânze Nandji în căutarea unui vas mai mare pentru familia noastră. Cu un buget mic, știam că avem ceva de lucru în fața noastră, dar am mers să căutăm o barcă cu pânze cu apă albastră dovedită, care să continue să ne ducă familia în întreaga lume. Găsind un Tayana 47 de design Bob Perry care a fost amplasat pe standul de câțiva ani, l-am verificat și sincer, în ciuda tuturor muncii de care avea nevoie, m-am îndrăgostit instantaneu și am știut că aceasta era barca pentru noi. Ne-am întors de 4 ori la barcă evaluând munca care trebuia făcută pentru a o face să plutească din nou. În câteva săptămâni am acceptat o ofertă pentru vechea noastră barca cu pânze, apoi am făcut o ofertă pe Tayana și a fost acceptată!! Acum avem o barcă nouă care are nevoie de puțină dragoste pentru a o aduce înapoi la gloria ei de odinioară. Eram pe un program de timp limitat pentru a face barca demnă, deoarece timpul navelor în Thailanda urma să expire. Următoarele două luni au fost pline de zile lungi și fierbinți în șantierul bărcilor, în timp ce am rupt și reconstruit interiorul putrezit și am finalizat niște upgrade-uri atât de necesare pentru a pregăti barca pentru ziua splash. A trecut mult timp și privind în urmă este greu de crezut că suntem în sfârșit în acest punct în care noua noastră barcă stă în leagăne. Cu un ultim strat de antifoul noaptea târziu, a sosit ziua lansării și prima fază de lucru cu barca este încheiată.
