Need to get new main sheet and traveller lines. Did inspection and not happy with them.
I replaced the shower head a few times. I think it was freezing and then cracking in winter. Exhaust elbow is a weak spot on Volvo engines. I used an aftermarket 316 steel one as I wasn’t impressed by the piece of pig iron that Volvo employ that hot salt water dissolves in a few years.

Love splicing. I switch on my video downloaded from Youtube every time I do it. That way you can pause , go back and fast forward which I do several times until I’ve finished. That job has got to be up there with changing filters, and Antifouling. How I love boats

You can actually buy oil proof oil ring trays, they have about 50 little boxes full of O-rings, it’s the perfect way to never actually have the correct O ring, But at least you can get frustrated why you brought the useless things to begin with! 😂 be there done that..
I was unfortunate enough to purchase the same book of knots and splices. Absolute rubbish isn’t it. YouTube does it so much better.

Id just chuck the old filters straight away. The filter look like the standard CAV filter which can normally pick up on eBay for around £4 each and it comes with all the O rings. I always change O rings every time I change the filters.
Oh, you reminded us. We need to learn how to splice!
