12. Sorry I don't know the conversion but a gallon of water is 7 lb I know this because I've been a Backpacker for 20 years and every ounce counts when you're carrying everything on your back and Hiking miles

34. I have had the boats I raced in Cape Town , hanging off that crane, used to cringe each time, but Bobby ( now retired) used to say our boat was super light compared to what the crane could do.
    That was 35 years ago.
