Congrats on 200, Boat motor- need to drop lower unit. Remove water pump. Vertical shaft will need to go up to separate from small pinion gear. Order new water pump kit while your inside it. There are shims needed to get proper backlash on new gear set. Replace prop shaft seals also. Piece of cake, Warren.

Congratulations on the 200th. I'm saving up to purchase the materials to build my catamaran from plans but I have to find a building location first. I think you worked on an off shore oil platform or was that another channel? Do you have a video on your back story and how you were able to afford this lifestyle and the boat?
What would be the best type of transportation that a cruiser could get for a lightweight catamaran. Would it be an electric scooter a foldable bicycle or something else? I was thinking of getting a Bike Friday or an electric scooter when I get my boat. I also want some spear fishing equipment and kite surfing equipment. What's your thought about all of this and getting this stuff for yourselves? I'm not a fan of those escape hatches at all and really don't think that they are necessary.
All of that stainless hardware under the water is a big no no! The stuffing box is incorrect on how to stuff stuffing box. I’m not saying that stuff to Be a jerk. I’m just trying to save you some aggravation bud. you got a redo all that. I have worked in the marine industry now as a mechanic for over 25 years. I’ve done over seven re-fits on my own personal boats. Keep at it, but do a bit of research if your not sure.

Been watching, and living vicariously, since pretty much the beginning! I remember there was a video of you guys taking a train ride in Mexico. Did any of you see the twist in the spline on the prop shaft at 27:09? That didn't look good either. Clearly you guys got it all fixed and on the road/water again, but boy, what a pain in the but. Maybe some lower guards to prevent the prop hitting anything in the future might save you some time and money? Great job Warren and great video Erica!
