2. Whilst it's reassuring the crew and passengers were spared, this capt or whatever he's called, needs to be targeted as well as the company that employed him. Any proper capt, plying for hire, needs to be acutley aware of their vessel and it's limitations. Sorry, unless there was a catastrophic exhaust breach (where the exhaust was expelled directly into the bilge (water cooled)) then ths should never have happened and there would have been water alarms in the bilge. So, capt & company totally to blame.

18. Just from the little you've shown,, the vessel was 5 decks tall? That is a lot of top hamper. Taller above the waterline than the waterline beam, 140% of beam?
    Vessel are designed and sold according to how they look,, the 'cool' factor. Which often does not relate even a tiny bit to Marine engineering.

38. My guess the captain was Italian. They are known good in sinking a ship and leaving first. That is a protocol for an Italian captains.
