— Hai, vânt! | Ep. 207

1. I try to sail as if I don't have an engine knowing what can and does happen so I think I understand the stress but I know I couldn't possibly get it. Thanks Kevin you are a true sailor and I have great admiration for you !!! 👍 👍

  2. Grinding my teeth as you express your thinking with opposing currents & winds avoiding shallows to a secure anchorage … BRAVO ZULU again "WELL DONE"!! TY

  3. Nice sailing! I've been following for quite a while.. great adventures.. I have my boat almost ready to go from cape canaveral!

  4. You are a legend. So unique what you are doing and a reminder to keep it simple and pure. The pressure to upgrade, get more, get bigger. I get it all the time. People come on the boat and say, "You know what you should get?", Seen too many sailors sink in the boat yards from spending fatigue.

  5. Hey Kevin, how about a run at the 2026 Golden Globe Race? You have the skills, just need to put together some cash and find a suitable boat.

  6. That was some pretty fancy sailing in the Berry Islands, showing people how it is done under sail. I enjoyed the video.

  7. When you get back to Maine, would love to see your boat with a backdrop of the Isle of Shoals off "Kit-tree" as we call it. Always look forward to your adventures, Kevin!

  8. In primitive times, how were they able to maneuver around reefs and submerged rocks, if they didn’t know the area?

  9. You're a better sailor than us! Even with a motor we wouldn't try going in there!

  10. I have seen the green flash. Keep filming the sunsets and sunrises on clear days, when you can. Might get one on video. That would
    be a coup! 👍😎❤️

  11. How do you manage in the Bahamas with so little sun protection? I’d be melting. Love to watch your boat handling skills.

  12. The “pure sailor” indeed! With a prelude of strings by that sailor no less. I love it! Thank you.

  13. I'm new to your channel. Going to watch from the get go (5 years back). This is what I've been looking for for years, YT algorithm finally sent me where I wanted.

  14. I've got kind a love hate situation when watching your brilliant videos Kevin. You see, I am a rather stubborn sailor and one of the things that really gets to me is when im not able to sail the whole distance and i need to revert to the iron sail i keep hidden under my cockpit sole. I'm fine with using it to back in the anchor or motoring in and out of an anchorage. Sometimes I sail of the snchor or leave the dock without starting the engine and then I feel pretty good about myself.
But when I watch your videos I really enjoy them, and at the same time have the shameful feeling of being a cheater.
I'm truly impressed by your sailing.Absolutely would class.
    Best regards from Jarle

  15. Can you please show me your main sheet arrangement .I purchased a little gaffer project about four years ago off Ebay .All the rigging shackles etc was just loose in boxes . I have managed to get her back sailing quite regularly but my main sheet is set up from a fixed center off a sheet horse . I know this isn`t right as I have holes located on the Port and Starboard side to fasten a block to each . When I see your main sheet I can see it splits into two at the boom but I can`t see the bottom and if it is a twin loose ended main sheet and also if it is how you cleat it off . Many thanks in advance UK 🙂

  16. That big white boat couldn't have been a 'superyacht' because it didn't have a supersailor on board showing us how to do it !!! Aways a pleasure to be taken along on a (video) voyage with Kevin :-)))
