   Older designs of longer prowls & canoe sterns were designed to cheat race restrictions, short LWL & long LOA … by heeling a 30ft LWL could sail as a 47ft LWL with its freeboard dipped … modern designs no longer require a heel to to cheat those restrictions of a LWL class
