  1. I’m intrigued you said you have no power without engine charging. Can’t you plug into shorepower at the marina? Or do you have a Genset?

  2. and there I thought our engine mountings needs to be replaced 😀 I am now certain ours can last another year or two!

  3. Amazing job, Yosh. Musta been miserable working in that sauna, but you persevered! No doubt, right?

If you happen to walk by a Nordic 44 named Sin Nombre, would you bounce a short comment back on its condition?

  4. Boats can be a challenge but rewarding when done, what kind of dinosaur was that walking on the beach looks like it could eat a kid!

  5. Thank you so much for this video! You are an inspiration for many of us. I am so blessed to have you as a customer. If you ever need something or need help/ questions/ doubts. Let me know!

  6. Way to go Yosh. I knew you could do it. Especially with the GIRLS 🩷🩷. And a few sailor words of course 😁 Hugs from Texas sweeties 😎🩷

  7. Yosh, hate to see you sweating so much. Good job on the engine mounts! 'Tulah is going to grow up to be a Warrior Princess. Please, teach her everything she's interested in learning about boat maintenance. She already has her parents' gift for gab. Safe travels ❤️

  8. Hello Legends!!! A hard frustrating job that pays big dividends when it got completed. Another great update. Wow Nandji 2.0 sure is a beauty. Thanks for sharing. Yew!

  9. So, I can't wait till you take the prop shaft out while your in the water HeH ? Nobody does that , right ! ?? ! On a more serious note, where are you going to get more panels and set up more solar ? IT IS WORTH IT ! Salt water would be terrible for engine mounts ! We have this stuff called Never Seize, I used to live and work in a port town. HUMBOLDT BAY ! CALIFORNIA ! There's also this stuff called NO OX but its for dissimilar metals I think.

  10. Yosh you are amazing as you don't give up plus Daddy's little helper was there with encouragement & of course Bonita! Those engine mounts were stuffed just in time!! Yosh you deserve a long massage after all that HARD work bending etc!! 🤗🇦🇺🍻

  11. Congrats on finishing that very difficult project! Snapping off a bolt has to be one of the most frustrating things that can happen, surprised you didn't go ballistic! Your "Girls" are so much fun!

  12. At my workshop in Oz, a broken bolt like that doesn’t really slow us down too much, the technique we used was to mig weld to the broken bolt (cation fire hazard) until the weld was proud again and then put a nut over the proud weld and weld the nut on, then normally the heat helped “crack” the bolt and just take it out as normal, PS i realise you didn’t have access to any of that equipment, so what you actually did do was excellent, (yeah them easyouts rarely work) they tend to be so hard they snap off and create bigger problems, If you actually think about it, they way the should work with the reversing drill action, they actually try to expand the broken bolt, opposite to what you actually need.. I don’t like them.. cheers guys!

  13. I couldn’t get new bolt threading to match up with the old bolt threading on my mounts down in the stringer . It’s a Tayana 55. I had to put the old bolts back in . Good thing mine weren’t to toasty. I think the eye bolts next to the quadrant where the steering cables attach are undersized to

  14. Well done! Extremely well done! And thank you so much in letting all of us know that it’s not just me who took 4 plus days to do the same thing! I feel feel you pain but nice to know that I am now part of a larger club looking at the comment from everyone who has suffered doing mount exchanges! 😂

  15. What engine is that? How is the fuel consuption? I bought an used yanmar 4jh3-hte for my 50ft (15ton) boat, I think is the same of yours. I didnt finish the installation yet and im kind worried with high fuel consuption.

  16. Great video, just think won’t be long and you’ll know Nandji 2.0 is Ocean ready.
Your nuts should be safely stowed before playing near the bilge.
Two Wedges opposite way round to each other tap until tight job done
If you haven’t got any wooden wedges use a football ⚽️ 😂😂😂

  17. Upgrading to the same mounts in my Tayana 37, Yanmar 4jhe. good job Captains, love the Ball inflation,, cheers. pop's fl

  18. Salty Wisconsin roads have me feeling your pain. I underestimated the power of a simple propane plumbing torch on rusty bolts for years, now I swear by it. Hit those rusty bolts with a torch til they glow red or close. will definitely help to loosen them up. Penetrating oil too, but don't start a fire lol.

  19. Living in the North East of the US I feel your pain with rust. Every job on car is doubled due to dealing with rusty hardware. But man, doesn't it feel incredible once it's done.

  20. Don't you love the "five minute job" that turns into 5 days had way too many of them myself…. I feel for you.. Totally love the soccer ball idea.
