  1. Next step is put an extension to the pull start chord through a pulley to deck so you don't have to start from the dinghy 🙂 Well done having her moving is a great leap forward :).

  2. EXCELLENT choice of music for this video and your editing skills so entertaining and in my opinion improving. I just love following your journey and I just always wish it was Friday again in anticipation of your video. Well done Mark and my best to you always! Lisa

  3. Good job! Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but it seems like those motors are mounted too high. When you get the boat into swell they will be coming out of the water so often that the cavitation will fry your impellers pretty quickly. You don’t want to learn that the hard way like I had to 😑

  4. If you can mount the engines together in the middle, then if one cuts out you still get centred thrust and the rudders will be more effective.😊

  5. That's actually a pretty good idea to turn one into a short shaft for a dinghy engine. You'll need the short shaft splined shaft and shift rod, but that shouldn't be too much. The port side engine is idling too high, that's why it's grinding when you pull it into gear. If it won't stay running with less idle speed you might want try making very minor tweaks on the idle air screw to see if it runs better. Either that or the carb has to come apart again because you have something stuck in the idle air passage. Some remote throttles have an idle speed adjuster on the outside of the controls.

  6. Hi Mark, I’m now in my late sixties and I am impressed by your perseverance. I am not a saint though I almost was one 20 years ago. I do like your wharram and would have enjoyed building it up. I hope to enjoy watching you do so. Despite difficulties you have had you seem to be in good spirits. You have a bit of work to do but one step at a time, one day at a time. Perhaps you may have friends to help – a companion would make the work more enjoyable. Perhaps your father will find a way to help. I have found my Christian faith a great support in life. If you are not a Christian reading the gospels may be an interesting activity for your spare time and a journey of discovery.

  7. "after 24 hours of pure rainfall…." my man, you're in the netherlands, what'd you expect?
belgium and the netherlands are on par with the UK when it comes to shite weather and rainy days xP

  8. Hi Mark i came across this channel ((((( FULL BOAT TOUR CATAMARAN (WHARRAM) , Sailing_Vahi ))) , the same boat as yours , you can pick up idees here too from them and build your own idees on your boat , your boat is gonna look great when you're finished

  9. My Wharram cat was basically an engineless boat. Occasionally I could get a motor to start lol. I made a set of sweeps 18’ long and we rowed her sometimes

  10. Спасибо за ваши видео. Недавно наткнулся на канал, и с удовольствием посмотрел их все. Удачи с оживлением лодки!

  11. It's getting there!! i'm impressed how far along you got, I was eating a sandwich when you pulled out the egg….lol

  12. Great job! Love watching the boat steadily coming along. We are just starting out on our sailing journey so
It’s quite neat to see everything you are doing! Ero,
