3. since quite a while I ask myself why these boats have two huge foils somewhere in the middle with the constant danger of nosediving (thus having to go a little bit slower than possible under the most optimal circumstances) instead of four smaler ones. One pair in the front and one in the back) . Together with around the same squarefeet in the water. This way minimizing the risk of nosediving and being able to reach a speed closer to the theoretical maximum.

5. thank you. truly. given their skills, I wish the drone operators / photographers – had been allowed to record the driving of the ship from the helm, showing us how the direction of the ship was managed with the data received on the screens and the control 'box on the pole in the cockpit. (perhaps this would expose proprietary information? )the drone pilot on malizia seems to have the vibe most relatable to the viewer – he is a reporter and photographer and a skilled pilot. thank you.

11. Just got back from Newport. Seeing your boats was incredible! How do you mentally prepare yourselves for such an undertaking? That third leg across the southern ocean especially. Two months in the middle of nowhere isn’t for the faint of heart. Wish I could have met you all while visiting today

17. I love these videos of the race – amazing shots. As I fly radio controlled aircraft, I am very interested in the drone setup. What are you using (DJI mavic?) and are they set up specifically for doing this kind of recording at sea?
