  2. Amazing sail, I have never had a spinnaker up for longer than a couple of hours. Love the way you guys present the average day in the Carib. Been to Antigua many times still love the sailing around there, but it still can get nasty pretty quickly. Stay safe.

Less drama, more planning, emergency reserves, that includes cash,more fishing, make dry fish, tinned goods and dried food in a barrel. 4 years I've been watching you and somtimes I get the feeling that a corner store is always close by in your mind. But I like your route, the camera work, weather awareness, and your thirst for knowledge, including the other sailors you meet. Overall, well done. 👍

  20. Ho boy, this evening was eventful. Some months ago I was talking to my neighbor about my plans to buy a boat in the near future to retire on, and I have researched boats, and the process to nauseating detail. Anyway, my neighbor, more than a little drunk, is over the moon about the 36', wooden according to him lol, Catalina that he has never set eyes on and is now leaving his wife to go sailing. He bought the boat from a guy he went drinking with in Florida, who didn't know how to sail, and neither does my neighbor. And oh yeah, he had never heard of a boat survey before I asked him what his survey read. Imagine his disappointment when I told him I couldn't drop everything and drive to Florida with him on Thursday…did I say he was drunk?
    What could possibly go wrong?

  26. I'm green with sailing but that isn't a regular symmetrical spinnaker is it. Not a full spinnaker ? Asymmetrical ? Code 0 ? I'll take whatever I can get from anyone who professes to know and add more ? I'll even take a comment from Chubacca !

  28. There's a lot to be said for ghosting along in 8-12knots every once in a while… it's a nice change of pace.
    Also enjoyed your chat with Dick that he's just posted (recorded over your Australia break) – hopefully he can discount you on a Kraken 44 in a few years time!
