  1. Juuri kun olen päässyt eroon lumesta, täällä minä sitä taas tuijotan, kun tuo kamerakuvaus on vain niin harkitun upeaa tasoa, kiitos teille molemmille, and Snow is a wonderful thing if you don't have to freeze for so many months.🌬

  2. Need to put a line on that outboard when transferring it from boat to tender and back. I’ve seen a lot of outboards lost in that transfer.

  3. Nää videot on todella hyvin tehty- Kiitos, kun editoitte ne! Kaikki toimet näkyy hyvin- drounaukset leikkaa hyvin et näkyy koko alue. Hienoja reissuja teillä on- tää talvipurjehdus on omaa laatuaan+ selität hyvin mitä& miksi teet asiat näin.

  4. Get a Honda outboard – they are the best, based on my experience. I had a Tohatsu once, these are much worse.

  5. Was talking about bringing a cat to Alaska and someone said too much drift ice and deadheads for such a fragile hull. Any thoughts?

  6. Great video again! I'm wondering if the "sneaky air leak" was in the tank. I couldn't read where it was because some of the pop ups blocked the writing at the end. I'm wondering because I had a sneaky air leak in my tohatsu tank that was caused by the pickup tube. Thanks again for the great videos.

  7. Burning is fine but carbon degrades if you just left it on the shore…you are just releasing the carbon into the environment faster by burning.

  8. Yes, large flocks of geese can be very noisy. I lived 30 m. from 4 softball fields where huge numbers of migrating geese rested on their ways South then North 6 months later. To where all 4 softball fields were covered with geese. Oooof, yes very noisy.

  9. Even though most of the video footage from the refitting process was lost, I would still love to see an episode where you talk through the stuff you did, and perhaps present it from the current perspective. You could comment on how the boat holds up in the environment you are in, what was made better and what you would do differently. How is the boat sailing and what makes it special?

  10. I have a tohatsu 5 and it conks out from time to time. Generally either the breather screw on the fuel tank is closed or a fouled plug.
But in 20 years of use she is a beauty.

  11. Well, more open space around You does mean more fetch, too, however. With good anchoring gear and a cast-iron stomach though, You can ride out even "less disappointing" storms 😅out in more open anchorages.
That outboard-motor-first-mate-coalition to ensure the more quiet rowing is chosen for means of transportation – a classic, to put it mildly. Doesn't hurt in that temperatures and with the time You got at hand anyway I reckon. Thanks for sharing!

  12. Noticed your OB tank was quite full. You probably forgot to open the tank vent or it was frozen over and sealed creating a vacuum and preventing the fuel in your gravitational fuel feed system from flowing into the carb. Trust me – I've done it myself with that very motor. It happened to me on Catalina Island at night in the summer. I had no oars or radio and the wind was blowing me out of Two harbors toward LA when an accommodating young lady took me in tow back to the island, festivities and embarrassment.
