  1. Just stunning, no other words come to mind. It takes you (well at least me) back in time when I spend time on yachts like this as a child. The rigging is superb and love the colour of the 'golden' winches but the maintenance of all the gorgeous wood 😱😱😱😱

  2. Absolutely gorgoeus. This sort of classic wood and brass is very much how I would want to my own yacht to look and feel.

  3. All that wood work is absolutely stunning to see. The craftsmanship that went into making the new and redoing the old wood work really have golden hands for it. I liked the sunroof windows that can open up for fresh air for below. It beautiful. Thanks for sharing this fine lady with us.

  4. Not me Google searching "light blue and white striped flag with red lion" and falling down a heraldic rabbit hole where I find out why the rampant lion's tail doesn't look like a normal heraldic lion's tail. Waleran III getting creative with the lion tail. Nice.

  5. Looks pretty, but 5 million seems kind of steep for a sailing yacht, and yes I get the cost of rebuilding and the rigging, tackle and everything else, but I'm just saying that you would have to be a super dedicated sailing enthusiast in order to want that boat and not a different one that is out there on the market that is perhaps newer and bigger, or of the same style but cheaoer because it does need work and the new owner can have that done to their liking. This is a specific box ticked for someone. That's what I'm sayung

  6. Well, it's not far down to paradise

At least it's not for me

And if the wind is right you can sail away

    And find tranquility

Oh, the canvas can do miracles

Just you wait and see, believe me

  7. By crew, do you mean children, cat, or dog, bc I’d love to be sailing that on my own with one other competent family member or friend

  8. If people are interested in how much work it takes to rennovate these boats, look up Tally Ho here on YT. It is a miniature boat compared to this and more of passion project. They have been renovating it for couple of years now. Their quality level is similar as seen on this yaght. Really fun to watch the skills it takes to work on these sort of boats.

  9. Truly a gorgeous yacht deserving of an owner willing to keep her in bristol condition with an open check book. i can imagine her in summer, new england, pacific northwest for the port townsend wooden boat show or the swedish archipelago. i once was on Neil Young's WN Ragland 100ft baltic schooner and had a similar reaction to such classic craftsmanship and beauty, i nearly passed out and had to be revived with smelling salts… almost….

  10. Hi David, I follow both of your channels, and enjoy it very much.
I've got one question: if I'm going for a new build, such as a Bering 80, should I hire a broker?
It comes to my mind, as a owner/operator it would be helpful with all the legal documentation, crew hiring, flag state, etc.
    What do you think?
