1. Alright. Nice sailing. Nice weather. That stream can be a pain, but this is the better direction. Have sailed this basic route many time. Ft Lauderdale was my home port for many years

  2. Wonderfully fantastically awesome video Kevin! Absolutely beautiful sailing, so good on my eyes. Thank You so much for sharing your life with us.
    Much Love and Hugs

  3. I saw a sloop with a bicycle lashed to the topside recently. It seemed small enough to fit in Baby Ruth. It occurred to me it might be an alternative to a rental car.

  4. Really liked the music interlude and drone footage. Great piece of video work there. Your yacht is way prettier than that awful power boat that blasted by.

  5. Excellent explanation of how to steer a course across the Gulf Stream considering changing wind and current conditions.

  6. Great vid! In bed with mornizomas revenge just now so a pleasant interlude! Better being under sail than in an expensive power boat! Cheers!!

  7. Love those great drone views and thanks for 'making it real' on how things like important cotter pins take leave of their responsibilities! Dean

  8. I've almost been T-boned on two occasions by people with speed boats on autopilot, "both Italians."

  9. hey kevin…great catching up with your adventure…i truly admire the way you have rigged ruth avery, which is a fine yacht as per spec design…she is now become the true purists world cruiser, which I believe is truly the way in which most sailors might outfit their rigs to sustain this as an extended lifestyle.
with this being said, i would really appreciate your sharing of a vision of how you would design and build a yacht if money for the finished product were no object. I’m sure you love your old girl, but I am quite certain that you have ideas about how to further improve upon the traditional design with the basic premise being the same, to perfect a true purist’s sailing yacht that is manageable for a single hander…
i wonder what you would envision for yourself now that you’ve gotten many thousands of miles of true blue water cruising under your belt…
i bet your audience would really enjoy hearing this too…

  10. Hey, my friend!
Yes, if you want to go fast from A to B it´s nice to have big engine!
But how much better is it to relax and listen to the wind and waves..? 😊
So, you should definitely invest in a drop of oil, I guess..! 😜
Good winds and following seas! 😎👍
