You can do a low cost hybrid conversion for under 3k I'd bet with Chinese LIFEPO4 cells and dual ebay outboards.
That was a awesome boat but I think that yalls is better but does have some nice features!!

Slack is always good when your painting your bottom, are you sure about ditching the Volvo engines, well time will tell, l used to drive Volvos & had nothing but praise for the performance, but today lm driving the best Japan can offer, there is much to be said about the quality of the engineering 🇬🇧
Lithium batteries !!!! I’m not sold on packing them together, it only takes one to kick off & the whole lot blows, all you can do is watch your pride & joy sink, why not pack them separately & even out weight displacement across the vessel & forget about listing !!!!
