  1. We stayed at the yacht club for 10 days recently. Will never do that again. There was zero hotel activities. They were advertised but no cast members showed up. More importantly mousekeeping was non existent. I have pictures of our trash piled high. Never got trash bags. Took our trash to epcot to get rid of it. Pool is over rated. Difficult to keep eye on kids and sand is tracked back to room they never clean. They changed our sheets once. Left us stained sheets and garbage. Mousekeeping did show up 4 times on our day of checkout before 10 am asking us to leave. Never again. Riverside was better. Prime location for epcot but over rated

  2. We love the Yacht and beach… we recently stayed at the Rivera and decided that yacht and beach is best for us. We use the minivans (lift) to get to and from MK, AK and DS. We will never stay anywhere else. ❤

  3. I love these resorts. Always a great stay. Best pool on property. Can't beat location. So many plusses. My only thing I miss is a better quick option.

  4. As always, love your videos. I’ll be with my best friend at Beach Club in September for 5 nights. So excited. Have stayed at Yacht Club twice and love it there. Praying for good weather and hopefully NO hurricanes ! Thanks again for your videos. They are SO helpful. I ordered two t-shirts from your site for our upcoming trip. “Disney 2023”. They are SO pretty! Thank you 😍

  5. I'm 61 yrs old and just returned from Disney. My 1st time ever. We stayed on the boardwalk. We were treated like royalty¡!! I need help by someone can tell me how to start saving so I can take my adult children & grandkids.

  6. I stayed in a Standard Room at the Beach Club at the end of January. I loved the proximity to EPCOT and the overall vibe of the resort was relaxed and happy. The lobby and other public areas were well maintained, so I was shocked to discover how in need of a refurbishment this resort was once I got upstairs. The hallways were dimly lit, with peeling wallpaper and scuff marks on the walls, and the carpets were stained and dirty. While my room was cleaner than the hallways, the furniture and soft goods definitely showed their age and need of replacement. Once Disney has completed the renovations to the BC Villas, I hope they will give the BC Resort some deserved attention, too.

  7. Omg, AJ!!!! I DVRd all of Samantha Brown’s Disney Great Hotels episodes and watched them on repeat!! She was the Mother of Disney Vlogging!!! Your mention of her made my day.❤❤❤ You should interview her… Great vid, as always.

  8. The only reason not to stay at Yacht or Beach is if you plan to do Magic Kingdom more than the other parks. Otherwise it is hands down the best Deluxe property.

  9. We stayed at the Beach Club Villas once. The access to Epcot was outstanding, and we very much enjoyed breakfast at the Marketplace when we weren't eating in our room. Both the breakfast and dinner at Cape May Cafe were really awesome.

  10. Love Samantha Brown shows. Stayed at Beach Club in 2008 that was a free upgrade because of issue with Disney reservation that WDWs representative did wrong. Would love to go back but NO WAY could I afford it now!

  11. We’ve stayed there more than a dozen times, it’s THE TOP Resort at WDW in our opinion. I wish we could stay every year. THE BEST. Especially the concierge (Club) level !!!

  12. These rooms should only cost a maximum of $365 dollars a night !!!!
It's sinful of Disney to make you pay x2.5 times more !!!
They are not worth that much !

  13. You can't beat the location of Beach and Boardwalk. I love the convenience it is for my 2 favorite parks, plus they're basically the middle of property so it's not much longer to get to places like DAK or MK.

  14. We stayed at Yacht Club for 10 days in 2016 and loved it. Being able to walk to Epcot and walk or boat to Hollywood Studios (we did both) made it much more relaxing. I think we were also at the first stop for buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. We spent some time at the Boardwalk area as well. We had a ground level room with a patio, and there was a bench not far away that we used to watch the fireworks at Epcot (the ones that went above the trees anyway). We made some great memories.

ETA: Forgot about the pool! Best pool for families with kids by far.

  15. wish list is to stay at Beach and we had booked for my husbands 60th in 2020….. opps that never happened and now my 60th is rolling around so all set for a split Universal Halloween Horror and Beach club and sooooooooo excited. Stayed at POR twice previously which was glorious so high hopes. We love Epcot and Hollywood studios as your vlog confirmed this is the place for us. Thank you

  16. I am really excited we just got reservations for the Beach club in August 2024. I went there a few times when I was younger but this will be my first trip back to Disney since 2017.

  17. I love both. Beautiful and classic. As DVC options, I like Beach Club more than Boardwalk. Between BC and YC, maybe I like the more formal YC vibe. I hope they make YC a DVC property. It would be a great addition and help even out BC's upcoming 2042 expiration date.

  18. When I was younger, I preferred Port Orleans Riverside. Now that I am 58, I require the convenience of the club levels at the Yacht and Beach clubs.

  19. All the places to take our group, Disney World Resort & Beach Club deluxe benefits, "meaning bring a lot of bread!! $900,000, should be sufficient….

  20. We stayed at Art of Animation this past July for a week. Loved it. We went to BC and ate breakfast at Cape May with the kids for the character experience. I want to stay at BC but the price range is kinda crazy when we are gone 10hrs a day an the parks

  21. I stayed at the beach club for my first ever trip to Disney at 2 years old in 2002. I haven’t stayed there since before the pandemic but I’m going for a few days later this month for my 24th birthday! We’re taking some family friends for their kid’s first visit (5 and 2) and I’m so excited to see them experience the magic ❤

  22. I'll never have the money to spare to go to anything labeled a "deluxe resort". I do love watching videos about them though.

Going to Epcot in February and staying at a hotel in Kissimmee that costs less than 100 a night.

  23. Just back from 2 weeks at Beach Club. Absolutely loved it! The pool is awesome and the Yachtsman Steakhouse was the best steak I’ve ever had.
