Yoda chases the bird off the bow to the top of the mast. should have hoisted Yoda up the mast…..the walk around to better enjoy the sail is a good idea. Wanted Posiden to help? well the seas were very calm when u needed to fix the steering, that seems helpful to me. 😀 Fair Winds 😎

Be safe out there! I had a feeling those rutters would be problemic and that is not something you want problems with in the middle of the ocean. I’m glad Seawind figured out the problem with the autopilot! I’m curious to see how other new Seawind models will fair I would be a bit disappointed if I was living through all of these issues to be honest I’m not sure how you guys are holding it together! Praying for you all with no other major issues for the rest of your passage.
I've heard in many other chanels and magazines that Seawind has one of the best supports. I find this very nice since, after all, your boat is from the first series so you're kinda "beta testers" for them. I find this boat VERY interesting and the knowledge you're passing them must be valued and rewarded by them.
I understand boat companies are not like airplane companies, in which they build prototypes and test, test and test it before putting it on the market. Maybe only Monsieur Henry Amel did this, but I don't think the company still practices this after his death.

That was awesome! Another great episode. I think you guys are having a wonderful time out there on the ocean, and I'm so glad that the weather has been so kind to you, it could be so much worse. If I may offer some unsolicited advice yet again. 1. Please check your terms and conditions as a number of channels I have watched have indicated that they have been 'warned or pinged' by Starlink for use of the device whilst they are mobile. Of course this probably depends on the plan that you have signed up with them with them for, and I'm not aware, of course of what your plan is. So I'd check anyway. 2. The gudgeon pin should be long enough to allow for stainless steel washes to be placed both underneath and above the cotter pins. This helps in a number of ways: reducing wear and tear on the pins and it helps take up some of the slack, so there's not as much play which helps reduce wear and tear and noise. I would also tie whipping twine to the lower cotter pin, with no tension on it, back the to the assembly somewhere so should pin where loose it's retained on the whipping twine. Also keep a box of varying sizes of cotter pins in your toolbox.
That midnight swim, looked absolutely lovely, and the water was so blue, fantastic! Was it warm or cold? It look like you really enjoyed it. On another note, I'd say the boobies are fairly tired if they're willing to come and stand on your boat for a couple of hours. Especially given how difficult it was to get them to move on, I would say that they're fairly fairly tired. So I myself would be reluctant to force them to move on okay, I understand that it may be a little messy at times, but it's easily cleaned with a bit of water and a brush. I enjoy the close wink with mother nature, while it lasts as it seems you did. All the best for the up coming miles, I'm sure, you'll make it with the fuel you have left. You could also look at bearing away from your nominal heading by just a few degrees, when the wind is a little on the nose. This will help to pick up a little boat speed as opposed to wanting to turn the engines on and stay on your heading. I understand this will create a slightly longer course and take a bit more time but it may save a lot in the long run and be more enjoyable with the sails up rather than the engines on. Looking forward to when you get here.
