  1. Great episode on every level. Heart warming on every level. And even us landlubbers can appreciate anything that "starts on the first pull." YESSS!

  2. I've been following you guys for years now, and I don't think I've ever had a perma-smile on my face like I did for this episode. I don't think you have to worry about someday not taking this life for granted… It is the work and stress of the life you're living that will ALWAYS make you appreciate those "perfect" days. 🙂 And no doubt having Isa is going to heighten those emotions and memories each day; I can't wait to watch your first summer traveling with her! I was selfishly hoping you might end up in Croatia later this summer…as we will be chartering a cat and sailing the coast for a couple weeks there, and I was thinking it would be SO cool to run into you! But, I'm sure Greece will be absolutely gorgeous as well!

  3. As father, I would be so proud if my son turned out to be a good as a husband and father as Jordan and my daughter turned out to be as good as a wife and mother as Desiree.

  4. If you feel ick hand steer. It will clear your head. You again need too hook up your fresh water for about two minutes, gives the heat Exchanger a nice rinse for the overnight.

  5. Dude dragging your ladder, and Dingy , yeah you have too come up with a better setup maybe Davits off your arch. If the line chafes or something else you can lose the dingy one thing of your just moving a mile, no more than , that. It ish bad when you loose it, happens too all of us, then you never do it again..

  6. Thank you both for changing my life. A couple months ago I was working as a software developer for an insurance company in the US. I am now watching this video from the Bay Of Islands (located in New Zealand's north island) in a campervan rental. Your videos inspired me to quit my job and travel. Thank you : )

  7. Thanks so much you two, nice episode has always and have watched you from the beginning. I can see where ESA is going to grow up into a very beautiful girl. Thanks so much for the beautiful scenes and what you do out there. Keep sailing Desiree, Jordan and sweet ESA, see y a❤

  8. I know not everything has gone according to plan over the last few months. With the grace of seasoned sailors, you have accepted were the winds have taken you. You have one lucky girl to have been born into such a amazing family. The one thing I have always appreciated about your channel is that you more often than not have no real skills but patiently and publicly figure it out along the way. It really is what we are all doing in life. It has been fun watching you do this with sailing, it is a gift to all watching you do it with parenting. So looking forward to seeing we’re all the winds of change take your happy little boat and family!!!!!

  9. ive missed you too many doctors appts but Im so glad to see you guys and little sweetie doing great and the view and the sea is looking fantastic, be safe well, and blessings always from va usa original ITALIAN but great to be with you and enjoying your adventures , see you next episode ciao

  10. Just 2 lessons to be learned. You have to learn to put here down when there is work to be done AND she has to learn she cannot be a Hip Hugger her entire life.

    Good Luck , (;-) TP

  11. Regarding Cyclades by summer … pls explore term Meltemi 🙂 … Perhaps it's better take more souther route directly to Turkey …and leave Cyclades for fall 😉

  12. Hi, I have been going through your previous shows and I want to address Isabella's phase syndrome. When I was born I had a skin problem where I had frequent discolorations on my neck and back. This went on for a long time and went away before I became a teenager. Not that Isabella has the same issue but maybe she will get through this the older she gets and her brain develops. I never had that again until I had a card accident and went through a windshield. I had brain stem damage among other things. The skin rash come back and finally went away after years of being on rehab. I think because my brain was going through a transition I got that skin problem. After a few years the skin problem went away. I hope this happens for Isabella. Pretty baby!

  13. This is actualy my first comment under one of your videos, even though i have wached them ALL 🙂
I have been sailing in the meditaranian a few times now and when it comes to anchoring with a stern line I found it the safest to go with two lines. Most of the time we connected the port clamp to a rock on the starboard side and vice versa. This forms kind of the narrowest angle between your boat and the line, which puts less stress on the them and is makes the boat more stable. You can use a bowline knot to attach it to an object at shore.
This is a bit overkill in some situations, but it is a good practice which comes in handy at changing currents and in crouded places.
This may help you in turkey, especially during the charter season when many anchorages are crowded.
