He screams saved the day…
Every fuckin' BEEP in that video is more annoying than the curse words itself. Goddamn, stop beeping every fuckin' shit! We're not in America.
Competitors in both cycling and sailing, like many other sports, are respectful of each other. They are just different and handle different situations in different ways. In sailing you often don’t know if your competitor has a problem so these things are sorted out after the race. If you saw the post race interviews with both skippers you would see how much they respect each other.
Why the shrill screaming?
Best man: First reaction: "Everone ok?"
Guess the other yacht forgot the right of way rules exist…
Good recovery guys!

Guyot Idiot skipper Benjamin Dutreux has admitted the collision was his fault. Newport, Rhode Island-based 11th Hour has filed a Request for Redress to the World Sailing International Jury.
To learn from this incident, IMO it should be mandatory for these boats, in to have a 5th sailing crew member on board, just to ensure the intense lookout during in-port-races. This could easily make the in-ports much safer for these boats, which are contructed for the open sea and not for the inshore spectacle
Screaming like a little bitch never helps anything!
Hear Rick Flair in there….wohooooo
Who's foult?
He saw the collision coming and waited too long before taking corrective action
As the old saying goes too little too late
At least no one was hurt other than egos
Screaming in fear. Nothing good comes from it.
A gent was killed and another permanently disabled in our local yacht club a number of years ago . All because people were simply not looking and or being arrogant or relying on the the yachting rules to survive .
So the last place boat takes out the first place boat by ignoring the rules. I wonder how much Holcim paid Guyot to do this?
This sound of crushing carbon fiber is … terrifying for more than one reason.
So dangerous. You can see how easy it will be for a sailer in the Sail GP to be guillotined by a flying hull when he doesn't duck down into the hole. It'll happen eventually, it's been close several times already. The Sail GP organisers and designers can't be ignorant of the risks and will have blood on their hands. They need a protection system on those Sail GP boats (side bollards?) or a rule of no foiling before the start line, as that's where the bifffo occurs mostly and the boats ride up over others dangerously.
Did they protest
Windward gives way to Port.
