6. Have you checked whether the boat is dry? If it has not been done before this boat is water-logged for sure. The best way to check is to remove table socket in the cockpit but I can see yours has been sealed so you can cut the hole out inspect the boat under floor and install new table socket later. The boat is filled with foam and if waterlogged the foam will be brown . Ideally would be to cut the foam out to bottom of the floor (water usally sits at lowest oart of the foam). I did restore couple of Shetlands F4 and they are always waterlogged.

12. 9:28 just a theory, some of the white caps have popped off over time, the previous owners have noticed the screws have rusted and replaced them as a when the caps fell off?
